he doesn't actively camp argus anymore from what i understand, but he does have TH2, Widescan, and a dagger, so i know he's making gil, whether it be all or some, from NMs.

i can dig that, i'm not .. not from vang anyway, i simply didn't appreciate it and brought my lack of appreciation to the proper place. As such it should also be noted that no one else decided to be a childish dick about my post, a few people responded in an enlightened manner, and i validated my understanding of their responses in a respectful fashion, all i ask is for that same respect everywhere else but here on the flameboard. Which is ultimately why i made the thread; If he's got honest hostility towards me over that lil post he can vent it here where no one expects the respect they deserve for trying to be a contributing member in another thread.

People should put out an acceptable level of gil towards their gear / food / ammo/ tools dependant on their means and experience to know what constitutes accceptable. For example...
Up until level 30 I would not think very poor of a THF without leaping lizzy boots. Up until 40 I'd accept no Emperor's hairpin. If you're a rank 5+, you should have that gear the second you ding. I don't care if whm or smn don't have astral earrings pre-60. But yet again, the high rank clause is in affect. If you have a lvl 60+ job you should be able to support lower level jobs for fairly optimal equipment.
Past level 30 tanks should use food. Past level 40 all melees should use food. Past level 50 everyone should be using food.

Players should have a right to be able to work harder for something better.
As soon as people reach that, people who are not willing to work that hard will become jealous and demand they get the same things and be bitter to those who worked hard.
To be the best of the best is not to have a certain amount of accuracy, or a certain amount of MP, it is to through effort uniquely distiguish yourself from the average player as something better.

Vang's an asshole. This is documented fact. You tried to confront him and you fell pretty hard on your ass. But instead of taking your lumps and moving on you head to the Flameboard and try to save face, which really doesn't save too much face at all. And you lash out at anyone with a dissenting opinion, which is fine, since hey, it's the FB. If you were new here, I'd understand you not quitting while you were behind. I think it's a badass job do not get me wrong at all, but I'm sure i have the skill of a 75 MNK and my MNK is currently 15. It's not hard to play, and how much did you spend on your Monk's current gear? Seriously? You think you should be allowed the same damage output as even the crappy ones that spend 200-300k a level in ammo?
Cooking to 95 or whatever blah blah? I don't get this, apparently it's not making you any gil since you are so bitter towards us that know how to bring home the big dollar, or just me. Cooking is like fishing anyways, most of us don't even consider it a craft....
You say you camped O kotes for x amount of time, so what I camped VE for almost 3 months straight until I could buy a EBow back when having 8 million was like having 40 million now. Fuck I camped Argus for 4 months easily before I seen a drop.
You come at me with all this shit you help others with, do me a favor bro: Go check out the good times thread and see how many threads my name is involved with as far as helping random people and QCDN members. Ask around how much on top of the world i am with my small mountain of gil and how distant I really am from all the "commonfolk", I don't ask for shit, I don't need gil from others I just enjoy seeing / reading their reactions when they aquire what they want. If i have the time I am tanking G2 runs, helping with AF, tanking Optical Hats etc.
As far as the MNK comments I made I do not apologize, and this goes the same with DRGs and DRKs and any other melee alike. You spend alot of your time LFG don't tell me you do not. If you don't have above average gear you are just lazy and the reason why everyone likes the Ninja, RNG, BRD parties only anymore
