right now? no. I have been farming a bit here and there. I just had a little over a million but I bought some big items for my dragoon. I have about 400k now, and I am farming to get some sniper rings for my dragoon. Like I said, I'm farming for both jobs. Drg is important to me now, but I still level my white mage. I am not, however, farming for the best shit for my WHM right now. Eventually, I probably will. Does that make me a bad WHM, because I probably won't ever own an astral ring because I'd rather have a cloak, and excellent drg gear?

I play maybe 3 times a week, for about 2-4 hours at a time. One or two of those nights a week I am with my static, as dragoon. The other night, I am leveling my white mage. I just started farming for an hour or two on the weekends. I pull in about 100k give or take depending on how long i am there and how many people are on per farming session. I don't garden, I'm not home enough. I don't craft, I don't have the time to do it.

I used to play a lot, and I had the best gear at the time when I did play. I got all my scrolls, and Erase at level 38. I got my AF right away, and I had all those items that you mentioned as soon as I dinged. I had my staffs at level 45.

But now, I'm saying, I don't play as much. I'm damn good at my job and the last two times I've partied with my WHM I have been complimented - and I didn't have my astral ring on me because I had lent it to a friend who happened to not be on at the time to get it back from. No one cared. I did my job damn well. I know uber gear can make you stand out as a player. I know uber gear will help you to be the best you can be. But just because you don't have it doesn't mean you can't stand out on your own. It doesn't mean you don't take the game seriously and it doesn't mean that someone doesn't care.

Like I said, I respect the people who do have the best, and I know I will never be AS good as them. But I do what I can do, and that doesn't make me a bad player.

I don't know what people can see wrong with that.

You can have PCC for your Dragoon it doesn't help your WHM a bit. 2 semi-valuable items by level 60(not talking serket, vermillion cloak, ext) is all I'm saying is needed. WHM has it EASY there. You certainly can do better, with vermillion and serket and whatever, to become the best of the best, but I think Astrals by 60 is damn fair. LEVEL SIXTY! This used to be considered high level. 60 is when people stopped leveling and started working on their vermy cloaks, scorp harnesses, hauberks ext. I'm sure if you asked most of the wealthier board members here they'd say you should have astrals well before, but I'll cut WHMs some slack. But sheesh if you saw a thief with less than 500k total investment in all their gear any sane party leader would simply kick them on the spot.
