TaruTaru. I can't have an NPC that is smaller than me (since I'm a small sized Taru), but I'll be damned if he's going to be bigger.
hmmm would be tuff, because i would like to pick a mage. However, who knows how the ai will be with the npc's. They could spam nukes or cures like some noobs do and get hate like crazy causing chaos.
I will most likely get a taru. Hopefully I can make my npc do emotes. lol

Well, Rones. The way I see it is that, yes, while they do start off as sort
of a PLD/WAR job with a sword and shield, we're EXPECTING to be able
to change our NPC's jobs. Square-Enix, since they've slowly begun to pay
attention to us will most likely impliment this feature.
Atleast I hope so.

rofl, this so reminds me of that Futurama episode where they made that Lucy leu clone. All I can see is all these guys running around town with their Mithra NPCs hugging and kissing them. LOL
