anyway, back on topic, why does noone mention the fact that the mnk tanking only arose due to the fact that You wanted to invite a samurai?
Samurai can tank. Pld>>war>>sam thats the defense order, some might say the tanking order is Pld>>nin>>warr>>sam, but there it is, sam is before mnk in any chart, in any list in terms of tanking ability. I know this, i tanked as my samurai all the way to lvl 35 and half the time in 40. and i did it well, and im a fuggin mithra. so If they said they wanted a real tank, the question answer shouldnt have been "the mnk is tanking" because, ill tell you this, if that sam was any good, and you invited him, I swear flat out at that lvl that a mnk couldnt get hate off the sam with a crowbar. I had Plds and drks that couldnt steal hate off me, overnuking blms, cure spamming whms, you name it, the only thing my sam ever lost hate to was divine seal curaga. at that lvl, a sam is wearing the same armor as the plds and warrs, so long as theyre not morons and go for the bathrobe crapola, and actually, this will last until lvl 40. so up to lvl 40, samurai can indeed tank, and tank effeciently and well, if they know their stuff and have their gear sorted properly. Trust me, i did it.
