What non-FFXI pastimes do you enjoy?

Mostly writing and reading history books... yeah >_>;

Aside from that I would say going to clubs and getting hammered with the gang lol.
 
During the summer I try to follow as much hydroplane racing weekends as I can since I'm a big fan of it. Currently I just go on canadian side but since I got my car, I'll probably go to Detroit, Celina and Wildwood this year hopefully.

I try to play as much tennis as I can with my friends too but since I got my injury I've been out of the court for the past 2 years lol.

As for general hobbies, I like train modeling. I find that ultra relaxing to build setups and play with it after. Once I buy a house in a couple of years, a part of the basement will be reserved strictly for a huge setup with background details, mountains, tunnels, etc.

Baseball is wildly popular too, and that's the number one most boring sport in the world to watch. Doesn't mean they're boring to play though, but sitting and watching a game where literally nothing can happen the whole time it's being played isn't enjoyable at all.

no way is baseball more boring then golf. or, bowling.
 
I've slowly weened off videogames in general. I write stories a lot - seems the ideal purpose of a macbook pro - to sit in a cafe, looking condescending, whilst very conspicuously writing garbage noone cares about. I'm not that sort of writer. Coffee is my life. And Guinness. I play the keyboard - got a nice one I'm proud of. I go to the bar. Lately, that's really about it. Because of a mixup, I won't be adding the gym to this list till Wednesday. Was supposed to be today. I missed registration because I forgot to change my clock. But that's about it for me.

That gave me a good chuckle.

I'm the same I'm not so much of a gamer anymore without FFXI, I guess nothing so far has gotten me the way FFXI has, I can't pull all nighters in parties or waiting 6 hours for 2 Mee Degi spawns. FFXI just had a sort of feeling to it, I haven't really been able to recreate it again, even if I play FFXI it just wouldn't be the same. But that just means I spend more time doing homework. Don't forgetting that I only smoke blunts if they rolled proppa.

Jk, I got a bong for that.

But basically school mostly then next year even more school with Uni starting. Other than that, photoshop, drawing, watching TV/movies, reading a lot lately also.

And most recent, I've taken up gardening. This summer will be my first when it comes to growing flowers from seed and doing actual planting. I guess I'll find out just how green or black my thumb is! I already have lavender and delphiniums growing up from seed :P
