What price is my gear currently on AH?

I've been away for two months now and I'm going to be back on in the next couple of days.

I've heard tales of equipment skyrocketing in price recently and I'm just wondering if any people can give me an estimate of what my gear is now worth on the current AH prices.

I think I bought it all for roughly 2.5 mil a few months back and it would be an interesting case study for inflation if nothing else.

So the gear I'm thinking about is as follows:

Valkyrie's mask: bought for 400k.

Sniper ring: bought for 550k.

Venerer Ring bought for 130k.

Assault earring bought for 550k.

Merman's gorget bought for 500k. (I think, not really positive on a lot of these prices ^^)

Spike Earring 50k (I hope the merman's hasn't gone up because i need it soon.)

Grand Knight's Lance bought for 350k

Life Belt bought for 100k

I have a bunch of stuff on macro but they're probably not worth listing, sun rings, spike necklace etc.

So anyway I'm not expecting someone to reply to all of these, but if people could chip in on what they know about off hand, then that would be great, thanks in advance.

so about 6 Mill of equipment you have.

and your right, prices have jumped a lot, Sheap leather 30K a stack, i paid 9K for 12 lightning crystals the other day as well, Silk Thread at 50K last time i looked, spiders webs 15K-20K, not good my friend

why in god name would you pay 9 k for lightning crystals? you could walk right out to qufim or dufu tower and kill a elemental, there only like 30:coco:
 
O.O; So basically my gear has almost tripled in value over the past two months.

Sheesh, and someone told me wild onions were 35k a stack now lol.

Wild onions are 20k a stack. Just checked that today in Windurst, was doing my lv20 Cooking test. Inflation's bound to happen, bad for newbies, good for old hands...
 
Overall, EVERYTHING has increased in price, assentially making all these items worth moot. They are still worth the same basically....
 
Two months ago, Sniper Rings were about 1-1.3mil. I know this because actually had that much money back then and was considering one. How'd you get one for 550k? They haven't been that low for at least 3, more likely 4-5 months.

Merman's Gorget sure has jumped around... bought mine 4 months ago for 130k, went up, came down, now it's back up? Yeesh.
 
Ok some of you are missing the point, this thread isn't about how much value my gear has accrued, it's more about the level of inflation in the last few months.

I'm using my own gear as a case study of sorts and because I haven't been online, i'm trying to gauge the levels of inflation in terms that are relevant to me, understand?

I think that explains things a little bit better.

Bomb Core paid 400k

Haubergeon paid 2,500,000

and how much do stacks of wool thread go for now? were around 25-30k when i left

and damn, i paid like 500k for assault earring too, thats really a jump!!

I love it when my gear skyrockets in price after I buy it.

Pentinents Rope paid 830k now 2.5mil
Elemental torque Paid 1.5 mil, now 2.5 mil
Red Cape+1 paid 100k, now 300k
morian earring, paid 80k, now 300k
astral ring x2, got em when they were worth 500k, now 2 mil each
 
I fail to see why this inflation is bad for newbies. With wild onions selling for 20k a stack and silk thread selling for 50k a stack, that's an asston of available gil to pimp out your new character in the lower level gear which almost never changes in price. A stack of silk thread alone can take most jobs to level 30 with "average" gear.

Yeah I couldn't believe the jump in price on this earring lol. o.o I bought this earring way back in the day when I was 59 war for 100k. Now it's 2.5mil... whats the FFXI world coming to? XD

Hauby is like 5-6 mil now ^^ Bomb Core 700k-ish if i remember correctly

Damn thats a brutal jump for hauby, not as bad as asura (13 mil im told)
and bomb core, not that bad. it was hovering between 700-900k when i left.
any one check on the Death scythe +1 and stacks of wool thread?

Clocian bought my Opaline Hose for 150,000 before I left and when I came back, they were worth 600,000. O.O
 
damn u came back too hazard?! lol. didnt know that, thanks for the prices! wool thread went up a little, thats nice since thats my main source of income! i cant wait to come back, just gotta wait till i get my new cards from my bank account!
