What Tank you will pick for your exp pt?

I voted.. pld.. but.. soley because.. that's kinda what im leveling at the moment.. so yeah. Though, if my next party were to be on Drk.. then I'd have to go with Ninja.

nins i have seen are more of DDs (weak 1s at that) and just can not hold hate with out SATA, also plds have a hard time so like doing PLD>NIN when makeing a party. having pld past 50 also i know how anoying it is when you exp and get turned down as a nin is looking, also whms become to lazy. so when later on they just get a pld and go "OMG i got to cure?"

For 90%+ of XP parties I'd choose NIN.
...Because it is faster.

PLD is a great tank, but unless they are really on top of their game, XP is slower n average.

I know, I hated that too, I just seek for 3 hours and 30 minute, I gave up seeking, keep overtake by NIN. I have see too much WHM with low Divine, Healing, Enfleeble magic skill x.x

I picked Ninja. A good ninja can be a real boon for healers. Plus I can skillchain with ninjas far easier as a Thf. They do more damage (imho) and hold hate well enough to feel a Pld would not be required. However, I find that Pld's are also very impressive tanks. I never worry much about hate control when my tank is a Pld. I worry more when the tank IS a Nin. But as long as the Ninja does is job, I would take a nin first. Thats my 2 cents.

i just pick whatever i can, if a friend of mine is looking for a party(he's a paladin) or another friend(ninja) then i'll get them, otherwise i'll go with either me tanking, or whatever i can find. Besides 4xwarrior 1xrdm 1xbrd beats any PLD or NIN tank... ooo or Warrior + Samurai + Blm +Blm +Blm+ Rdm(or Blm)... i liked that combo 4x Stone MB on torama... we got kills before my utsusemi would be gone most of the time because we'd SC at the start^^

WAR tanks do a great job they got hate and DD really well i only tank on my war if i got a war to help me as if you get 2 crits in a row you might need some help
