What's your top 3 favorite jobs?

Mines are :

1.DRG-First job to hit 60, and will always be my #1 job <3

2.SAM-Love the AF, and the way I get my fast tp :)

3.It's probably gonna be a tie between my DRK, and BST(That'll soon be my next job to at least hit 60. I should lvl DRG, or SAM to at least lvl 70 first though ;p)

DRK-Love the damage it does, the AF, cool looking Vas scythe and the WS all of us DRG hate, and say bleh, penta thrust is better ;p.

BST- Once I get this bad boy to 35. It won't take long to hit at least 60 with this job, as I tend to play this game alot <3. As of now though, I just like the fact that I don't need to say, "Man, somebody invite me already ; ;). Can't wait until I get teh Rampage also :D
 
WAR- Just cause of our massive hulking DDing powa! And its versitilaty.

MNK- Totally, bad ass...

NIN- The AF is cool looking (though I doubt I'll ever have it) and its a fun job.

1: Hmmm well its gotta be... RNG
2: PLD, my 1st adv job and my 1st lvl 50+ job, gotta love the AF also.
3: is a tough to choose but ill have to go with MNK, for some reason MNK is realy growing on me (even tho mine only lvl 15).

Well I don't know what my three favorite jobs would be. I know my #1 pick, but the rest are about tied in my opinion.


#1 Warrior 63. I love this job more than any other because I constantly deal mass amounts of damage. This job is bittersweet however because I get put down time and time again because "Warriors sucksorz". I try to provide parser data and such proving that my 63war has only been outdamaged so far by a Gun Ranger and even that was 150-200 per fight. (Grrr Memu for being the only one to beat me so far D: ) Of course no one will beleive me and still say I suck cause I am a WAR but hey, when I do get a party it is always pretty damned fun and I pull in over 5k+ if the pt is rockin w/me.

#2-#6 Would be, in this order, BLM72 SAM50 THF52 WHM63 RNG50. They are SOOO close though in comparison fun wise that I cannot really pick just three.

1. DRG gogo purple people eaters (PS I wasn't that good a DRG)
2. RDM even tho I suck at it >.>;

I never really levelled anything else other than RDM and DRG, aside from subjobs.
I've always liked to watch Warriors in action in a party, although mine is a whopping level 16...
I've almost always liked Samurai's in a party, aside from the occational doofus I encounter. Never liked the helm though eheh. Mine is a whopping level 18...
I like Dark Knights when they know what they are doing... They look bitchin' too. Mine is a whopping level 30...

So I dunno... I think I'm gonna level my Warrior later and see how it is.
 
1. SMN, we rock
2. BLM, nothing better for blowing off steam than blowing shit up
3. MNK, the BLM of the melee world, for when i want to punch stuff to bits :)
 
RDM- only job I have above 40 and the one job I love to die in.
WHM- Job I have to lvl cause its my Sj. I dont like it.
THF- I like Treasure Hunter ^^;

I know the thread was about my favorite jobs, but these are the only jobs I have played so they are my favorite right now.
 
BLM- I love making my victim's lumgs implode and watching them lose control of thier bowels.

RNG- Same reason as above, except instead of the imposion and the bowel control loss replace it with Sister Ray ownage. ^^

MNK- Punchy Punchy ^^
 
Tough question. I change my mind every so often too.
Being that a job isn't just about XPing, I'll consider other things as well.

Although when I began playing THF, I had an idea of what the job would be, I keep learning more all the time. Perhaps it's that knowledge that allows me to place THF as my number one. I don't really want to say it's bias, because I'm considering what I know of other jobs too.

Why I take THF as my overall number one:
-Excellent farmer.
-Ability to escape dangerous situations easily (Flee, Hide, PD + Instant Warp, etc.)
-Ability to sub damn near anything and make it a viable sub for some aspect of the game.
-Ability to equip a variety of weapons and be useful with them.
-THF abilities already mentioned + Evasion bonus traits and access to much + Evasion gear = best puller in the game.
-Good hate control, without overdoing it...More flexibility after 60.
-Flee + /BLM for warp makes for speedier crafting or AH runs, or just getting around town.
-Steal = Money for nothing, chicks for free.
-Coffer/Chest picking. We don't need no stinking keys.
-Dancing Edge and Shark Bite, <You can have this>.
-2 or more THF/NIN is too damn fun.
-Triple Attack is awesome, especially when it procs two or three times in a row.

Maybe there's more, but I've had a blast playing THF so far, and am anxious to get to 75 + Merit level.

Others that follow closely...NIN, SAM, RNG, SMN
Ugh. Tough question. Every job is fun in it's own way. I know that's not the question, but I struggle with this one. ^^
 
1. DRK. Too much fun but too much lfg time.

2. NIN. I love the look and the spells of ninja, katanas are sexy.

3. MNK is shaping out to be total enjoyment. Its relaxing and I look sexy like a nin only cheaper!

3. WAR/WHM

Yes, I'm serious. I'd buttersheep in exp parties if it was acceptable. I don't know why I'm so obsessed with /WHM... might be the auto-regen, might be the fact that I can go (almost) anywhere with free snk/invis, hell it might just be because doing a Divine Seal and Raging Rush in the same fight gives me a virtual hard-on... but I will never let the buttersheep die.
 
1. PLD: I started this game to tank
2. RNG: My char's name means ranger, and its a fun as hell job
3. WAR: So versitile, my first job all four Taurothars ^^

Lol Dae, how can I get a retard hat? It would go perfect for my DRK, DRG, or BST ;p. They don't get parties anyway ;p.

#1 Ranger (if I had the money I'd be a melee class)
#2 Red Mage (I started the game as a RDM)
#3 Beastmaster (Very fun solo-ing and getting killed by Goblins)

As of far...Ranger is the most exciting job, you deal a lot of damage!

...I don't know why I'm playing White Mage anymore... :? cause it's a cheap job and gets easy invites?

WELL you have to go on a LOOOOONG ass quest that takes forever and you have to fight HNMs every 8 seconds and it will cost 99 million gil... Quest starter is "Heythisguygivesyoutheretardhatquest" hidden NPC in the depths of Ifrit's Cauldron beside the ash dragon, only appears on a full moon on Iceday for 17 RL seconds. Good luck!!

Please note, it is DRG only...


On topic, I decided I like MNKs too. They are cool. They can kick (would it be kick or punch...) my ass any day. >.>
 
1) Drk...Great fun, I don't seem to get the ridiculous LFG times others speak of(lucky me!).
2) Nin? Haven't seriously levelled it but it seems fun >.>
3) Erm, couldn't tell ya. I hate playing thf and war, and don't have any other job lvled up much :P

lol, I'm glad I have drg, or I would've paid 99 million gil for nothing @_@.

On topic: RNG is fun also. That's going to be the next job up to 60 after BST @_@.
 
Dark Knight(no shit), Paladin(again no shit), and the most fun for me NIN but I don't have enough gil regularly to be able to support the job :P
 
1: Dragoon: Throw back to the days of Kain yo and full of uber badassness (paticularly if you're a kitty like me)

2: Ranger: Cause come on............ damn.

3: Samuri: For one reason only, Skill Chains are fun!!

Actually that was hard cause I haven't found a job I truly dislike, just some I enjoy more then others. WHM, MNK, RDM and WAR are all other jobs that i have enjoyed playing alot.
