What's your dreams?

I have several dreams =)

1) Become a great Games Designer.

2) Get Married.

3) Become a Proud Father. Boy or girl, I don't mind. =)

4) Become a Proud Grandfather.

5) Die happily and smiling knowing I have done all of the above =D

Yeah, I know the last part sounds crazy, but whatever. =)

I've had the same dream since i was 12.

I want to have a wife and 3 kids(2 boys and 1 girl) with one of the boys named after me(So i can at least pass something of mine on to my children) and the girl named after her mother. The second boys name would be "Isac Vaughn McIntyre" Don't know how or why I came up with it but it's a good name. I hope to have all this done by the time I'm 25-27(if I last that long)

I also wanted to become a cook but as I got older I knew that with CF it would be impossible since I'm always coughing.

I wanted to be multilingual (sp?)

I grew up speaking French and English, and I decided to take Spanish in High School. Then I took Japanese in college (even though my parents told me to drop it, I got a B+ :)).

Japanese seems the most interesting to me, but I doubt I'd ever move to California, and there aren't many Japanese people in New York. I would like to move to Japan, but I like English too much to do so.

I also wanted to be a meteorologist, but not the fake ones on TV. I mean I wanted to do the mathematical equations, like how to predict the weather for the next day, and the percentage of rain, etc.

- For 'her' to understand

(don't ask why I put this, I feel it can do me some good)

My dream is to be a successful writer. That doesn't go to say I want to make a ton of money writing, just to be successful. I want some works published, I want to get a series going, and I want to sell some books.

Cure aging and natural death. Once you die you aren't. I don't want to not be, I want to be. You can become rich, you can become famous, but all the same, you're going to die. And once you're dead, does anything matter to you? That's tough to say. When you're alive, what happens after you're dead may matter to you, but once you're dead, nothing can matter to you. You aren't.

So, I want to work towards not dying. Technology can be good. What is good? So much ethics here.

I also want alot of things and do alot of things. I know this is real life, but I always wanted to go on an adventure. There's this spy store near my house that sells Night vision goggles. I seen them and they're pretty neat. I also want one of those device's with trackers on them.

For learning things, I want to learn some langauges. Spanish and greek because of my parents, and something eles really cool like Japanese. I want to learn how computers work, I want to get into some kind of sport, I want to learn how to build techinacal things, I want to learn how to spell properly, I want to travel alll over the world with some sort of purpose. I want to help the enviornment.

Most of all, I think it would be really cool to own my own business/company or be a soap star. Being famous would be awesome.

I've always thoguht it would be neat to start my own pyramid scheme and make a crap ton of money. Otherwise i want to follow in my father's footsteps and become a professor at the University Of Minnesota. Probably in the same school too (Pharmacy school).

As far as advice goes, I couldn't say. I'm a young guy and I don't know what it takes to make dreams into reality. Hope? Luck? A fuckton of coffee? I suppose.

Perseverance thats it. No matter how smart you are, how rich you are, how good looking you are, with out perseverance you really won't get anywhere. You may even have to hit rock bottom to learn to succeed.

As long as you don't let it stop you, you will, even if it takes a lifetime. A person who quits, gives up, says it's not worth it, contemplates the hell out of shit, never succeeds. YOu need to have the will to start walking and keep going forward.

You also need to not care what others think of you. If its your dream, and you know you want it, then you need to strive for it no matter what other people think of it. They think its a stupid idea or not possible? Keep trying and never give up. That is, unless it really is a stupid idea, such as being able to breathe in the universe without a fancy suit.

I'd write more, but I have to run for work.

Win 2 Oscars.

One for best original screenplay, and a second one two years later for best director.

I agree and I wish I had realized this sooner.

What if you have no dream? hmm *thinks* I can't really think of anything I dream for or whatnot, not that I have much, I just don't care O.o plus, why get your hopes up only to have them crumble down? :P

I'm kinda like that guy from Dodgeball.. what'd he say? hmm

“I found that if you have a goal, that you might not reach it. But if you don’t have one, then you are never disappointed. And I gotta tell ya… it feels phenomenal.”

If you don't have anything to strive for, you never have something that leads you either. If you have a goal that you want to reach, you'll do your best to reach it. You can compare it to soccer. If there is no goal, they'd just stand there passing the ball to each other, not knowing what to do. If you suddenly place a goal on the field, they'll all run towards it trying to kick the ball in. They might not always score, but they'll at least get a good work out and might learn something they didn't know before on the way.

Grr I hate these kinda questions because if I do want to do something noone will shutup and actually let me decide what I wanna do as opposed to blah blah blah here's the info make a descision( And we know there's only one right descicion to make[thier one which I usually play along with and do to shut them up]).

In All honestly I dont give much of a shit about my careeer goals. Anytime I try to pay attention and work hard a it I get sent off to do some pointless crap and forget where I was and it's easier just to forget it instead of the cycle repeating when I try and sit down and do things again right away.

If I do have a dream it's really just to find someone to fall in love with and all that lovey dovey junk. Have a few kids(if the first doesnt drive everyone mad) and try to raise them the best I can. Gonna be tough finding her and/or realizing it's her but when I do I plan to sweep her off my feet. I'll probably be doing alot of improvisation since the only love advice if it can be called that I've received is "marry a rich whore" and that's not what I have in mind for my future.

I supposed it's time to try and work on my future again. By the time I find something to do and stick with it I'll probably be qualified in everything even remotely relate to my career.

I want to write short stories or poetry. At this point in my life, I don't feel that I've accumulated enough to even begin on a novel, or any larger work, but I'll see. I love the free reign and creativity allowed by these mediums.

But.

I also like journalism and photography, and taking pictures and writing for a newspaper is actually what I do for work. Still, I haven't decided which route I want to take. I like the freelance lifestyle of a photographer and of some types of journalists, but my merit has always been verbal expression, and I think creative writing nurtures that a lot more.

I just want to be happy, not looking to be rich but have enough to not work till I'm 90. Just want to find that someone and have good memories with my family. Not much more you could ask for.

Was looking into being an EMT/Paramedic but think I may just stay with UPS. The money in EMT/paramedic is pretty low for what you have to deal with.
