What's your most valuable item(s)?

Hmm I think mine most Valuable items would be

1) My Sattva Ring (Shout out to the best CoP Static Ever!!)
2) My Valor Surcoat (Shout to LolDynamis for getting me my sexy Surcoat)
3) my Lanturn Sheild (Was given to me as a newb By a Player named Rorixx when i was first starting this game back in 04
4) My Signed Jack-o-Lanturn (Given to me by a Good Freind named Oren)

My Black Belt, without a doubt. It took an enormous amount of time, effort and money; but I was extremely happy when it was finally completed.

If I had to choose a second, it would be my Usukane Sune-ate.

For RIGHT NOW...my most sentimental item is....

My Heart Snatcher

Although it's an easy drop, it just shows how dedicated a couple people are to skip sky, limbus, dynamis whatever it was to help me with this measly knife.....THEN that same person who held the run helped me break the 500 point latent on it for 4 hours.

My most valued item would be my CoP static!!

  • dalmatica
  • herald gaiters
  • yinyang robe [because of my great friends]
  • nashira seraweels [rarity when i obtained it]
  • kirin's osode [one of my first major god items]
  • black belt [rarity when i obtained it]
  • fortitude torque
  • rajas ring [rarity when i obtained it]
  • soboro sukehiro [because of my great friends]
  • blm: sorceror's petasos
  • nin: koga sarashi
  • rdm: duelists chapeau

without a doubt: my Rajas ring.

it took my static nine weeks, a boat load of gil, and countless hours to get Sea and our CoP rings.

back when it was still hard, and before everyone i knew had gear and merits out the wahzoo; it was just the 6 of us up against the most grueling game content SE ever put out.

Rajas Ring by far because COP was the best time I've had on the game since NA release.

Then a distant second Soboro just for the fun factor or having it right when I hit 50.

Although it's an easy drop, it just shows how dedicated a couple people are to skip sky, limbus, dynamis whatever it was to help me with this measly knife.....

Maybe I misunderstood, but doesn't that show people aren't dedicated since they skip LS events to help out 1 person? >.>

My Tamas/Rajas ring because of the incredible adventure that was CoP and the great people I met all along the way, my on-loan genuine ballsak igqira weskit, and my signed normal blue [odon] cape because it reminds me even he sucked at crafting once. - And all my AF2, Utterchaos, <3.

Eh, forgot about Sattva Ring - I'd definitely add that under the 'pain in the ass to get' category.

It's a toss-up for me, they'll have to recount the votes to determine a winner:

- Relic Pimp Hat: <3 Utterchaos, the one and only hat to drop for us that I'm aware of (been traveling overseas for the past few weeks, so maybe one dropped since I've been away, but I would guess not. :( )

- Joyeuse: What a pain in the balls Chary was. My thanks to Alastor, Isomiau, Suavdok, Jinx, and Kairiboo, who I owe much manual labor to for hanging with me in the hell hole that is SSG for so long. The MVP of that fight may have been Iso's NPC, who is/was a curebombing Taru machine. That was truly a site to behold.

- Nashira Legs: You know you LOL every time the countdown begins...assuming you're not the target. Just plain fun.

- Duelist's Belt: <3 Utterchaos again. This makes it for the "woah, never seen that before" comments I get from time to time when I have it on in town.

Nice thread for a change. Made for a good read!

my yigit set (billions of shouts to get lol)
dark staff (given to me way back then by a friend named Raindrop)

I have quite a few items that I really enjoy having so I'll list a few.

Friends - I wouldn't be anywhere in this game without them so they get first mention.

Sorcerer's Petasos - I will always cherish this piece.

Fortitude Torque - Do I really need to explain why?

Zenith Mitts - BLM for over 8 months and 20+ kills before I even seen them drop and I won the lot.

Rajas Ring - CoP fun and frustration, not always in that order.

Ethereal Earring - I couldn't imagine playing PLD without it.

Joyeuse - I didn't have to camp this long before Chary popped and it was a quick freak out in LS chat to get a few peeps down.

Retaliators - Living in Fei'yin and getting up at odd hours of the day and night was a pain but very much worth it - 1/5

Cassie Earring - Extra HP, Vit and Str for a race that is lacking in all 3 lol. Combined camping of this and Western Shadow for 3 weeks total in Fei'yin.

Hopefully soon I'll be able to add W.Legs and Black Belt to this list.

There are plenty more items but you get the picture.

Peace,
Shmed

On loan?

Lilac Corage - A very close and special friend of mine gave sent me this signed as a surprise gift and it has never left my possession since. I have never been fond of wearring signed gear unless it was from a friend and that is why I don't often ask for signed items. I didn't even need to ask for it, she just knew. >.>

My Noble's Tunic - I worked long and hard in my first sky shell to obtain these. It was my first item with the shell and really the only thing at the time that I really wanted. I'm proud of them not just because I worked hard and others worked hard, but because back then people actually cared to do that. Things weren't seen as a burden as they are today because people knew what they were doing, they were doing it to help everyone around them, not just themselves. It's my memory of the good old days.

Sorcerer's Petasos is my all-time favorite drops. Thank you, Perfect.

Tamas Ring would be my #1 though. I not only gained the ring from ending Promathia, I gained new friends. It was an amazing time, but I can't say I'd want to relive it. XD

I have alot of High-end items, but i still think my favorite is my [Caerloc] Genie Weskit.
I went 1/85 in making it, and i started way back when Talons costed several millions, and its a 15% break synth. Was the only reason i leveled bonecraft.

Warlock's Chapeau~ It completes my first set of AF on this character, even though I can't even wear it yet. Plus, it's a Pimp Hat, who doesn't love a good pimp hat?

My Crimson Scale Mail.

Because from what I hear it is a rare drop from Aspid. And it dropped from my 1st, and most likely last, Aspid kill.
