How could I forget that?

I’ve seen several NASCAR drives, but being in Winston-Salem, that was pretty normal. I don’t like NASCAR so I never went up to talk to any of them.

I met and got O.J. Simpson's autograph at the Hertz counter in our airport when I was a kid...traded it for a candy bar...lol

Met Tony Hawk when he came to town to dedicate our first skate park.

Come to think of it, I forgot my little chat with Late show host, Conan O'Brien. I met him during our NBC studio tour. He happened to be in Studio 8-H (SNL) and he came and chatted with us while he was taking a break.

a friend of mine is a relative of the big man himself, governer of california Arnold! his real last name is Schwartz (cut off the hollywood 'enegger') and he's a very light and funny guy i met him before he went into politics over lunch with adam's family...

Lets see...

I met Don Cherry (Canadian Hockey Broadcaster and all around loudmouth) at a Missisauga Ice Dogs game when they came to play our Ottawa 67's. He was a dick, just a huge purple dick. I asked him to autograph a hockey card I had and he refused to sign it because he didnt' like the goalie on the card. Even though he played on his team... I was 17, and it really made me change my mind about his ass.

I play hockey at the Ice Forum in Gwinnett county here in Atlanta, which is the Thrashers training facility. Dany Heatley, Ilya Kovalchuk and Garnet Exelby all cheered us on from the stands during our playoffs. One of the coolest experiences I've ever had, when the pros cheer you on! :D

My buddy Ben was an intern at 99X, so I got to meet Liam and Noel Gallegher(sp) from Oasis. I also got to meet Melissa Auf der Maur (canadian rock goddess), all the guys from New Found Glory (sorry, I don't know their names), comedian Tracy Morgan, and I got to meet Amy Lee and the rest of Evanescence when they played at the Tabernacle. She is not very attractive in RL, I must say my expectations were a bit... high... :P Beautiful voice though~! :)

Some off the wall ones, may not seem famous to people stateside... My band The Better Half opened shows for Econoline Crush, Big Sugar, Matthew Good Band, and Moist at Barrymores off of Bank Street in Ottawa. Some of my best memories were made there! Also met Ian Thornley of Big Wreck (now solo), Matt Good from the Matthew Good Band (he kicks ass, so much ass in RL) and I got to cover "Let It Ride" with the members of Big Sugar. Oh, and we got to share a stage with The Mudmen, a kick ass band that blends rock and bagpipes!

...all of the sudden, I'm really homesick... ; ;

I met Richard Biggs, guy who played the Doctor on Babylon 5. It was a long time ago, but I remember him being a really nice guy.

Biggs was cool. I think his last role before he died was a newscaster in the Dawn of the Dead remake. I didn't spot him in the movie, but he's in the DVD extras.

Troy Aikman- Dallas Cowboys Quarterback
Ray Chidress- Houston Oilers
Jerry Glenvile (proably misspelled) Houston Oilers Head Coach at the time
Cody Carlison- Houston Oilers Back up quaterback too Warren Moon

My parents and me and my sister when I was in the 8th grade visited the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Oilers training camps. Got their autographs. Troy Aikman was the hardest. I got pinned against the fence by alot of people holding out my pennant and pen for him too sign. I was really lucky he stopped and signed mine. Never met them but came face too face with them which is cool. Even got too hold a NFL Houston Oilers helment in my hand as one signed my Oiler's pennant. The Oiler's camp was alot more laxed on security and you got too walk up too the players as they were leaving the feild. Proably not that way anymore but was a cool experience. Have more autographs but they were people that did not make the team. Cowboys were stand offish and Troy was the only one signing autographs. The Cowboys did have security and fans were only allowed too be near them behind a chain link fence. That was when they were 1-15 and before the superbowl wins.

I've known Jessica Simpson and Ashlee Simpson before they were famous. I still see them when they come to Chicago. Jess was always the nice one and Ashlee the rude one. Still stands to this day.

I met Amy Lee when I was shopping in Mall of America. She was really nice.

I met and got to spend a few days with Nicole Richie during a photo shoot for Candies. Best days of my life. Nicest person I've ever met.

I met Nikki Hilton at Kohls when I was shopping for a prom dress. She's really freakin nice. Even helped me pick out my dress.

Met the entire Green Bay Packers team at Denny's one night. They've all got one heck of a sense of humor and every one of them gave me autographs.

Out of pure luck, I headed down to Best Buy for something and ended up being the first person to see 50 Cent getting out of his bus to shoot a commercial. Got to chat with him for 20 min before the swarm of people came flying in and got his autograph.

That's about it. >.>

i've met absolutly no one famous in my life.

the only simi famous person i met is this weird guy who kept calling me kid when i was 8 and i kept screaming at him till my parents slaped me.
everyone was asking him to sign his name on some stuff but i didnt kno anything on it.(but that was 5 years ago and i can't even remember what i did 2 days ago  )

Haven't met anyone but the mailman from Cheers cause he lives in my hometown but I just saw Juliette Lewis And The Licks this weekend in Seattle and got to grab Juliette Lewis's breast when she was crowd surfing. :D:D:D:D:D

Not really a celebrity, per se, but I've met Ian "Ian J" Jones-Quartey, seeing as how we're both Baltimore native, and attend Otakon vigorously.

These are two of my favorite bands. You're a lucky bastard. The day I get to see either in concert is probably the day bliss puts a bullet in my smile.

Oddly enough Isis started doing some major U.S. tours after the the new album "Panopticon". I know they usually stayed in the northern states and Europe but now they are branching out quiet a bit. Don't be to surprised if you see them in the near future. Also if you are into these guys I recently imported a promo of a band called Callisto which ,IMO, straight owns Isis...their debut is Oceanic II in my eyes if Isis had cut Oceanic off at "False Light". They are on earache and the album is now out but if you like P.M. me and I can send you a copy or something to check out...I think I waited about 7 years to see Isis but man...they put on a terrific show. Best live show I have seen in all my years.

As for Mastodon look for them on Ozzfest, /sigh, soon as they have now gained a ton of U.S. fan base...which could be bad, see In flames, but hopefully not. Anyway, they tour U.S. and Europe non stop. They are some of the hardest tourers in the biz if you ask me. They are nearly always on the road.

I hope for the sake of good times you meet both of these crews especially Mastadon as they are as nice as they are talented. I have had some unforgettable times with the Mastodon fellas.

http://www.sgnl05.com/ for Isis show news

http://www.relapse.com for Mastodon links and tons of show info

You probably know both of these sites though.

Both bands are currently out of the states (assuming you are U.S. based) but it's only a matter of time before they come back. I saw Isis a few months back and they said off the crowd responces they have been getting here the U.S. can expect to see more of them in the future.
