As I said in my greeting thread, I still refuse to learn how to spell it. =D You are now Wilfred Fizzlebang.

This thread is for those of us who were displaced that had to choose a new name, whether you did so by choice or someone native to the server had your name.

The main purpose for this is for friends to find each other. The secondary purpose for this is to find out if anyone we don't like got new names.

I know I have to change one of my character's names at least. Until I can log in after work, since the server still wasn't up at 4 am, I won't know who my little Selan will be. Any other characters, I'm not sure of. I'll at least post Selan's name up when I get it, and if any of my other mains are changed, I'll note those as well.
 
Hi everyone. There's already a Ginny on the server, so don't confuse me with her! I was Ginny on Midgard, but now am Ginnyweasley.
 
Oh it's not that hard to remember the spelling you could break it down like this:

Que (plus a t)

Quet + zal + coat + l

Just make sure you don't pronounce it like that ^^;

And I think I may just start calling the server "What?" You know, "Que?"

It really is. I was a native quetz and the whole time I've been there I swear I spelt it wrong (auto-translate ftw) and say it wrong.

Meh, I guess its the mexican in me, that and Quetzalcoatl was my favorite summon in FFVIII
 
So is saying Quetz too hard or something? There really isn't any reason to say the whole thing. I doubt anyone used Midgars full name.
 
I'm now Nevia. I've been using Viena since I started playing back in early 2004. :s
 
I always said Midgard. And for now, I call it Quetzal or Pretzel when I'm in a funny mood.

No name changes needed for me or my mules. All good.
 
We just call it Pretzelkoala
 
I'm pretty irate, after checking on FFXI friends search and FFXIAH and not seeing a Sigyn...

I'm now 'Honeyimdrunk'

I'm playing as Seyrenne now. It was supposed to be Seyren, but that was taken. ; ; I suppose Lord Knight Seyrenne doesn't sound too bad.

Also, I took the time to learn how to pronounce Quetzalcoatl, because it would've kept bugging the shit out of me if I hadn't.
 
Selan has become Madrigosa. My mule, Mjollnir, I have a name for but not going to say it until I find out if I can actually get it.

Names not showing as actually taken has become a very common thing. A friend called up SE help line and was told to login and call a GM. I called a GM and got an automated response message that GMs can't do name changes.
 
Well, I never got to know a lot of Midgardians but for those that do, I went from Shiroichi back to the name the Quetz residents already knew me by; Shirai.
 
Seeing as how my friends call me Illy 99.9% of the time the char that I assume came from Midgard that has the name Illywilly freaks me out now. I dunno if they changed it to that or always had that name but I was pretty sure I checked FFXIAH before and got no Illyria on Midgard. Anyway welcome again all Midgarders.
