Anyone gonna wait in long for like 48hours out in the cold and get your own PS3?

You gonna wait for couple of months til glitches and problem is solved... umm solved major problems?


Well Congrat to whom got PS3 this Fridays

And People who gonna wait... you did the right thing! FFXIII won't be out for a while, 11/17 isn't gonna be the final day to get ps3, there will be better one then the first launch.

How many threads have been made about either console in total?

I am waiting to see what happens and maybe a price drop before buying it. So far, no games are out for it either (or a very few with no interest in them). Although I do feel sorry for the people who work in retail on those days.

I think there should be a console board cause this will get out of hand.

And to answer you're question Vandoura, No,

I'm getting a Wii (for 1 games and it's features) then 360 (For 1 game). I'm damn curious to play that Wii, if it keeps me entertained, then 360 will need 2 games to sell itself to me. I'll be able to live without the PS3 until Ninja Gaiden Sigma is released in spring. Maybe after 4 million units it will be easier to get lol. I pray PS3 dosn't have recalls.

According to all the magazine editors they say PS3 is a pleasantly silent system, and it's heavy, they said it's difficult to pick it up with 1 hand. And 2 different sources that tried it out say it attracts dust very quickly and finger prints easily. So solution is not to touch the damn thing lol

I think it's funny how now that Playstation fanboys get upset so easily considering they have been bashing Nintendo for years. So you know what, have your little "bubble" here, your protective sanctuary. Just shows that some people can't take the abuse they dished out.
 
No Elpon. It's just that the Wii has been used against PS3 so much, it'd be nice to have a clean conversation about the PS3 for a change. Can you not label.
 
That's my point, the situation from the last console generations have shown playstation fanboys (labeling because the were fanboys) have always made fun of Nintendo their systems. Now comes this generation and Nintendo has a worthy system while the Sony's is having many problems. How many nintendo topics have been ruined by the Sony fanboys? A lot. So what you are seeing now is just a role reversal and it's obvious to see that playstation 3 people can't take what Nintendo people have been getting for years.
So what I'm saying is, don't like people bringing up the wii? Deal with it. If you like the Playstation 3, that's your opinion and you shouldn't worry about other people's thoughts about it.

EDIT: Personally, I would love to see a fanboy free generation. But it's mostly a pipe dream.

I would get one if it offered enough for me to set it apart from the other systems at this point in time. Right now all 3 systems are on the same level of interest for me but down the line, I see the PS3 pulling ahead, and since I can't see the future I'd rather wait and see more. Right now the Wii's got one game I really wanna play and some I sorta wanna play, PS3 has games I wanna play but I'm not ignorant that sony has had issues, I'd rather not push my luck again, so I'll wait for them to assure that all the bugs are worked out :P should be a few months. And 360 interests me but usually my friend gets it and I can use it at my friend's house a lot (sometimes even borrow systems like we have before). So that's something keeping me from spending the money, plus the down the line I still see most of the games being on PS3 so I dunno..

so in short of that big paragraph, no, I won't be getting a PS3 when it comes out XD it's bad enough anyways that FFXII is keeping me from some school work I should be doing :P I don't need MORE distractions

I think this speaks for itself, obessions. I had intent on maybe camping a ps3 like I did with a 360 last year to sell on ebay for some quick cash. Only to find out today my local walmart already has lines stacked up along with bestbuy. We are talking 48hrs of waiting. And to think about those people who have been waiting 9days. omg lol

The reason i don't want Wii discussion in this Topic because when people talks about it, is gonna be page of page about Wii

You can discuss it at the Wii page, but Just keep it clean and not get offtopic into another console
 
I'll think about grabbing one after major fixes and a big price drop a year or two down the road.
 
Guess I'm the only one.

*edit* I pre-ordered at Gamestop, didn't camp (well I guess I camped 5 hours when I could have just shown up 30 minutes early). I tried camping for the 360 unsuccesfully last year so I jumped on the pre-order first thing. I was in Walmart last night at about 4:00 A.M and as far as I can tell there were only 2 people there (saw two empty lawnchairs & Guitar Hero II being played). Store is getting fewer then 10 systems...going to be madness.

Not worth it at the moment...unless you're selling it on e-bay for 1000x the retail price lol. I'm going to wait til better games(Or games "I" like") are out or else it's just going to collect dust.

Just seen on the news how people are freezing their asses off in the cold rain. At this point of time the PS3 will be released in 9 hours. The news was interviewing only the people 1st in long line ups. Many of them want to sell it on E-bay, then there are those few in the back of the line ups that say they want it for themselves and their kids.

Tormorrow there will be alot of unhappy campers as places like Walmart only have 8 PS3 consoles availible on a 1st come 1st serve basis.

Shortages really do unvail how excited consumers are about the PS3. Sony did this for the PS2, but for the PS3 the shortage is very real.

People out there will buy PS3 games before they even have a PS3, as it is in many cases a must own system, i'm sure of it.
