Why did you pick your name? And wth does it mean?

I think between Kyrial and Alyada who have the prettiest names :D Where's Isotope to make a poll when you need one?

Originally thought I had been the first person to use it, but turns out, Skaw is a Woodelf hero in the original Warhammer. Ironically, I've played Warhammer 40k before ever using the name.
 
Ronith - In Osage it means (Hope - Warrior - Leader) it's based from my real name, Ronald

I liked the sound of the name, and hell it seemed fitting for a Fantasy Character... Ron(stereotypical old-style character name)ith, and it seemed also fitting for FF, "A Warrior who brings hope, and is a firm leader." that's the phrase that was given with it.

Meredith, my San d'Orian Hume mule... I always thought Meredith was a really pretty name. It's funny, shortly after I made her, I started seeing someone named Meridith around, and occasionally people will send my mule /tells, thinking it's Meridith. XD

Bigbigtruck, my Windurstian (Jeunoan?) Galka mule, gets his name from a fanfic author that wrote a hilarious Cowboy Bebop fanfic.

Kyrie is my RL Ex-GF who I got to start playing FFXI about a month and a half ago... sorry <.< but she's used that name for a long ass time, even back in WoW when we started in it, i find that funny lol ><

Well mine started out as reddog from the beer reddog I used it for all my consol profiles. I finaly started doung pc stuff and reddog was really popular and all the variation I though if was kinda lame. The first matrix came out and I got neo from there its been reddogneo for a long time now my new varation will be reddogXZ. If not that then gau from FF3 or 6 in japan

It was a choice between Dycedarg and Wiegraf...

My first dude was named Ipimpedyourmom, almost got him to 10, they made me delete him. I was drunk at the time, so thats how i got my name.

Mules
Thatfishysmell= Was going to be a fishing mule, but I don't like to fish.
Pallwall= Supposed to be PaulWall(rapper from texas) but was drunk.

crysania from Dragonlance lol I love that series. Not to be confused with Crystania who hates getting mts from people trying to talk to me >.<. I started using this char name back in pso days.

Sakira: A made up name from a really good friend of mine iShadow.
Ruiwui: A name I just made up trying to think of something to name my tarutaru.
 
originally I was going to pick blackrose from the .//hack series but it whould not allow me to use it and I didnt want a annigram name so I figure since I was going to be a rdm and red hair I pick a firey name. Then was thinking names that a cat would have and hellcat came to mine. (didnt work) I keep trying diffent thing finally settleing with hellstorm. I love my name and would not change it:wink:

I had a mule named Gafgarion actually, i let the name go though.
 
Paddington because he was a favourite of my childhood and I still think Tarutaru look like teddybears...and Taru children were refered to as "cubs" on several occasions in the game's storylines.

FYI Jender - Chestylaroo (Chesty La Rue) was a famous stripper from the American south around the 1950's I believe, I think it was New Orleans.
