Why did you pick your name? And wth does it mean?

My friend was making fun of me at the time for choosing Taru as my race( I wanted to go blm, was the best choice) and said "What are ya gonna name it, ewok?" I laughed and said," Ha, I am now".

Mules:

Ewokskitty (ewok)(mithra) wanted to name it ewokspussy, but i thought SE might not like that

Wraithor (bastok)(galka) was an old character i made up back in HS when i wanted to do comic books

Drkdale (jeuno)(elvaan) I hate this name, used to be owned by my former roommate, but it was high enough to reach jeuno quickly and safely, so i kept it, lol.

Sears (sandy)(elvaan) Walmart was taken. Think my bazaar message still says "Come see the softer side of sears", lol.
 
Blabj... I talk alot (anyone in GrandTheftChocobo can vouch for that)- hence the Blab part, and my middle name is james, so the inicial would be J, put 'em together and you get my online name :) I thought up this name when I was like 8 or something, I think I used to go around shouting it.

I wanted to have callum... But the fake callum (the one who stole my name) stole it.

My mules names are... Blabjob, which was made up after a chat in spiritzunleashed (thanks allexxa :p), Schnuckums, which I thought sounded cute so it's my mithra mule and ecchi which means indecent, sex and other words I don't really think you wanna hear, in japanese. She's also a mithra :3

Soon I hope to do away with my other mules and just have schnuckums though, she r0xx0rz :)

Torqameda came from Torquameada from Warhammer 40,000
Then Botosai told me to change it to make it "/tell friendly" when I first made my character. Hence Torqameda.
 
Got mine from Kenshin, when I first made my character it was Battousai, the way it should be spelled, but the first couple of friends I made could never remember how to spell it, so I made a new character (was only about lvl7 or so when I deleted my first) and changed it to Botosai instead. :D
 
Lolth. I forgot what the actual meaning of the word was (it's spelled differently if I recall correctly) but it's a character from the "Forgotten Realms" D & D books. The evil goddess of the Dark Elves. I used to have an Elvaan DRK named Parillius (which is my original internet handle and a made up name), I hated missing so much and I heard a lot of people say Mithra made really good DRKs cuz' they hit more often. I figured I'd level up a Mithra and compare. I wanted something cool and evil sounding since I was gonna be leveling a DRK and I settled on Lolth.

Although after the reality of leveling another job up to 30, then leveling an advanced job up to 60 sank in I didn't do it. When I came back to this game (old account was gone) I joined this server and remade both characters with the same idea in mind. However I ended up only level Lolth and as a RDM instead of DRK cuz' I knew I wouldn't have money to buy all the gear I'd need to be a good DRK.

I chose the name, because the personality of the character is alot like mine.
 
Got mine from mine and my husband's comic book we've been working on for 2 years. My sharrie is named Jadelyn Shadowstalker (and eventualy Starscream, it's a sci-fi) She's a babe. ^_6 We hope to get it published when it's done.

Hmm. Angi was a roleplaying character I had for about... eight years? I loved her to death, I name all the FF main females after her when I play them, and the origonal still makes a random appearance in my art and games on a regular basis. ^_-

It's pretty much what people call me anyway... since you know... we're all geeks like that. >.>

And~ it occured to me that elvaan seemed to have long sorts of names, and Shelly was another character, so ding: Angishela.
 
I had a mule on another server that I deleted to create Langly on Quetz.

The mule was a Taru and of course named Langly. So I recreated the hume and liked the name so much I figured I'd keep it.

Inspired by Asuka Sohryu's middle name.

Actually there's more to it then that. But yes..it is from an anime. Excel Saga. If you turn on the extra thingies that pop up during the show on dvd you find out the highschool is called Inunabe High. Dogstew high lol.

But I've used that name since before I saw Excel saga. I used to (read: still do) participate in Larpy stuff where a bunch of people dress up in costumes and then proceed to beat the snot out of each other with foam weapons. Well I my "character" was a cat demon and a few of the other guys played dog demons. Well lol as part of my character's history I was raised to be part of a special guard that fought off the "dogs" and i was named Inunabe Loto Dogstew Hero. Loto comes from the first Dragon Warrior game and you found out it meant hero.
So that kinda got adopted. *straightens his clip on cat ears and jingles the giant bell around his neck* Ya I love the cat thing.

And then Fintarue which is my mule. Went to a huge larpy event in ohio. Ragnarok. Week long thingy, pretty fun. Well I ended up being adopted into the Goblin group that was there and became their ambassador. ^^; they gave me the name Fintarue which was some slur of them trying to speak in common. Was supposed to mean goblin in cat skins or something lol ^^ But man i really enjoy that stuff lol

Zhoutai - Leetest character on DW4-5 (any upcomers) I also wanted to main SAM. But I realize, I didn't like it like my MNK. ^_^b
Mules: Southsandoria. mule for San 'd Oria. Used south cuz that's like the zone in sandy that you always come across. Bastokmarkets mule for Bastok. used for the same reason as SS lol. Thisfaceisfugly. Hume Male with the indian face and braids. I thought it was ugly. but realized.. it was fucking ugly!

No, my name doesn't mean The Loner, and has nothing to do with thelonius monk.

I was using the random name generator and it gave me something like "theluorons" or somethin wierd like that, i just started deleting and adding a few letters till it came to Thelona and i thought it had a good ring to it.
 
Alouette is from the game La Pucelle Tactics which I'm pretty sure some of you played. :cool: As for why I chose it....alot of the other names I wanted were taken, and no I'm not French, quit asking me that question. :nono:
