Why does everyone want sarutabaruta?

The trees in Ronfare make it hard to see mobs and you get stabbed in the back at times by Goblins.

Gustaberg is ok, but the drops from the mobs aren't *that* great. And the scenery is so...dull.

Sarutabara is a better place to level...what can I say? We've got the famous Mandragora and harmless bunnies and Crawlers that drop Silk. What more can you ask for? Green scenery and cool mobs to experience off of. We've also got Crabs and Pugils...variety!

So...anyone want to start a Windurst Only Linkshell with me? *runs from the mob*

I have a pair of questions:

If you don't care why do you always make topics when it get's taken?

Why must you incessently bash the very people who took it from you?

Myself, I was getting a good laugh the other day on a coffer hunt. First Bastok beat Sandy in ballista, then Sandy beat Durst. it doesn't really MEAN anything, but it was good for a chuckle.

Answer 1: Many people make a huge point about teasing the first Windurstian they find and rubbing it in their faces. This is a medium to hopefully let more people know that doing so is a huge waiste of their time, and hopefully get them to shut up, do their supply run and be happy with it. (and yes even being Windurstian, I was amused, then I was over it)

Andwer2: if you read the above answer, some people got provoked into responding from the bashing the other two nations have now had two weeks to be able to do. I'm not saying "two wrongs make a right", but all I heard on Sun. was about how Windy sucks, all Windy players suck, so I'm sure a few people are going to either get upset, or annoyed with being bashed on themselves.

So, as we said. Haha, windy lost Saru again. {That's too bad.}, {fun}, {/cheer}. ok, I got it out of my system, lets all move on. ^^

Ive never really gotten why people get offended when its said that Bastok sucks or windhurst blahblahblah. WHO CARES!?!?! I am overjoyed myself. Not for any kind of rivalry thing, but because Windhurst is kind of a pain to get to and now I can outpost warp, that is it. I wouldn't care if people took over W.Ron, hell go for it. Bastok, who cares? Their damn outpost is too far away to be of any real convenience.

This could actually be a good thing. Now that Windurst is easier to access, maybe we'll get a little more traffic. That means more stuff on our AH selling faster, more stuff being bought from our bazaars, more people running around to reply to that call for help, etc.

Just a thought.

But why we really lost Sarutabaruta.... We're all just that damn good. All Windurstians are out of lowbie jobs to level, so all you pitiful n00bies from Bastok and Sandy are the only ones there. :P

If Windy or Sandy wants Gustaberg... Go ahead, take it, I don't care.

I just want outpost warps.
Perfect answer.

Even if Bastok or Sandy was overrun with a million noobs, the effort required in getting those noobs to Saruta, then levelling there without dying for god knows how long... it just doesn't happen. Someone from Sandy took a legion of naked transports to Saruta, traded in a few hundred k worth of lowbie equipment, and were in Major holding when conquest tallied. Same way Bastok did it. Same way Windy can do it to Ronfaure or Gustaberg.

Although I'll admit, there seems to have been a lot more noobs in the Bastok regions lately...

Let me post the ending to my "real reason" for those of you who are going to correct me thinking I was serious:
...Bastok and Sandy are the only ones there. :P[/humor]

The reason it gets taken over is because its the best place to level as a newbie...

The best way to take over a zone like Gustaberg or Ronafure is to go homepoint at one of those cities, switch to a new job and go level up to Lv8 or so in their zone...

Now just get enough people to do this for a week straight (more then the home country is levelling in their own zone) and you claim their zone.

DONE.

We alreadye established the reason is cuz people go in there and trade in lots of gil worth of equipment to the guards.
:P
