now i dont know what you are saying i think ur trying to say someone said 20% by accident. but that is not the case someone posted a youtube thing that said a fifth of americans. please keep up w/ the discussion and dont make posts if u do not understand what is being referred to.

It's only your opinion that the things you say have relevance.
Someone, somewhere misquoted a statistic, or cited a different research result.

WHO CARES. The point was that it proves there are people that dumb, and that they exist in a large quantity. There's no excuse for it either way, and you bring up some nonsense about "lol teh standard mayb have improved 4 school", making up some sort of correlation between these statistics, and a bunch of other nonsense that you seem to think relates to the topic at hand.

The point is simple. There are people that stupid, and god dammit, you're one of them.
 
I do remember in the newspaper some time ago they articled a gay goose couple, and it was noted that one of the male geese acted almost identical to a female, so I'm thinking there might be some gender confusion involved. In fact, the second male was so feminine in behaviour the caretakers were fooled for YEARS.

Ryu, race has nothing to do with sexual preference, and any anology involving race does not work. It's doubtful gender plays a 100% role in it, especially since gender doesn't seem to play a 100% role in much outside who your direct relatives are. Like I said before, you made the choice whether you remember making it or not.

first off no one misquoted a statistic are u still not understanding that? the fact that it was two different research results and they came out 9% apart proves that the only dumb ppl are the ones who did the research.

i was being sarcastic when i said the schools were getting better because when you look at those two polls it appears that a much bigger percent of young ppl know where the us is on a map.

and how can you say im making up some correlation between the polls they are both the same except one talks about young ppl the other about all americans.
if those dont correlate then i dunno what dose.

Or, you know, they're different sample sets, collected from different areas at different times, or any number of variables. Or a mis-cited statistic.

Because you're making all sorts of assumptions about polls that you frankly know nothing about. I know nothing of the statistics cited in the video, only the ones from CNN. Neither do you.

secondly of course they were two different sample sets at different times but a good poll is one that encompasses all aspects. it wont matter when where or how. if u ask 300 retards what the capital of new york is and none of them know it dosent mean 100% of americans dont know what the capital of new york is.

3rd point is not a real point so ill skip it

4th i dont think its too hard to understand the polls
 
Polls can differ largely depending on Sample size. Heck, even a small sample size can be accurate depending on where and how it's carried it out. And saying that they're carried out by idiots because of the difference in percentage is retared - Statistics do have something called a MARGIN OF ERROR.

Smalls... Just walk away. No one would hold it against you.
