Why is the PS3 a fail?

Well Gundam Musou they apparently want to get to the US "quickly as possible," so yes there's a U.S. version coming. May take a few months though because it spans a lot of the Gundam series apparently. However, like all games, the Japanese and US versions are region free so can just import it.(assuming you don't care about the plot)

There are a few games out there I considered importing but decided to just wait.

i remember an interview and ppl were questioning Phil H. on Afrika. believe he said its more of a tech demo type of thing, kinda like pokemon snap^^

Suposedly its a game designed to show what the full potential of the console is. While i dont expect the game to be that good in of itself (Pokemon snap was cool tho) I expect it to be visualy stunning.

And the interview was in EGM febuary issue. At least the one i read is.

what game is that? Youtube blows so much ass -_- won't load.

Ok, it works now.

Me Want.

LOL! Wow XD that's funny

New update out... if you have a PSP(which I don't), this should make you happy. Apparently the PSP download games are now playable on PS3 and you can transfer game saves back and forth... meaning you can be playing the same playthrough on your PSP and PS3.

After already converting every episode of Star Trek Next Generation, Scrubs and Aqua Teen hunger force to .MP4, I might as well just get a damn PSP... can watch on my big screen or take em with me.

Some other random additions... like oh yeah, rumble!

How would they include rumble when it's not even in the controllers?

Correction: It's not in any controllers OR in any games that are out now. As of now it'll only help for playing PS1/2 games - just means future titles and controllers will get rumble. There are 10 dollar PS2 controllers to USB adapters out there and I know they work. In fact splitfish made an attachment to the controller so you can have six-axis for your ps2 controller and use it for ps3 games that require that. So in theory use ps2 controller + adapter + six-axis add-on and you have a ps3 controller with rumble.

Kind of stupid if you ask me to do all that for rumble... then again if you have a ps2 controller lying around, the adapter's 10 dollars at radioshack and I doubt the six-axis attachment is more than 40.

But it wouldn't be wireless... :/

Myself, I think wireless rechargeable beats rumble.

I'll just wait until they make sixaxis rumbles and grab one, I don't have 4 controllers now anyway.

So sony's finally got rumble working with their six-axis or are they going to just dump that?

The rumble feature is in the firmware now, what they are doing with their controller, I have no idea. I assume they didn't just add the feature for PS2 games. I'd just advise anyone not to get that 4th controller if they particularly care about rumble and don't have a friend they can sell one to.

I'm kind of amazed they actually took it out of the firmware to begin with. Since you can play old games on the PS3 and the six-axis doesn't work; you should have been able to use an old controller to play old games with rumble from day 1.

And Wii should have online multiplayer from day 1, what's your point? Let's not try and spin every good piece of news into a bad one.
Yeah, because Nintendo totally removed the online play of the previous generation and took almost 6 months to bring it back.

This isn't omgnintendoisbetter(you're the only one who even mentioned another company), this is sony fucked up by removing such a basic feature from all old content. They fixed it, congrats, that doesn't change the fact that it should never have been removed in the first place. Your comparison sucks and only works as a dig on Nintendo; one company removed a feature in next gen, the other didn't have it in the first place.

You're right though, Nintendo should have had online multiplayer from the start. Too bad it has absolutely nothing to do with anything.

Begone, I banish you!

Oh yeah, for the all of ONE game that could even USE the thing, and the game barely even sold. Yeah, that totally built up a market for online games. There was nothing to remove, no one played online and no games used the network adaptor so it was discontinued years ago.

Rumble worked before the update <,< I had the adapter thingy and on PS2 games it did the rumble thing.

I still dont get why people are so crazy about it, its an annoying thing.

I'm not crazy about it, just want people to stop bitching about it. Seems like they did a big update to the PAL BC as well, hear a lot of the old games are working now 576P. Plus seems like they handled most of the popular titles that weren't working.

Kinda wish I had PAL BC for higher res on my favorites. ;; I wanna see what PS1 downloads are gonna look like for us tomorrow when they update the store.
