I had no problem reading that.... Theres something I've read in my life that resembles long strips of text... What could it be... OH YA! It was a book! I guess learning how to read books really helped me out, I'm glad I learned that back in kindergarden..

I also agree with Miros that people that use slang like that in RL are pathetic... Don't ever send a message to your boss like that, for the love of god. However picking someone for your party based on their grammar and vocabulary seems unbeleivably retarded to me. Don't someone because 1.) They're a jerk.
2.) They're a noob/completely gimp. (I care less about gimp...)
3.) Don't have the Expansion containing the zone you want to xp in.
4.) Your party doesn't need a third WHM... Trust me... (Invite based on the partys' need for a certain job)

I'm sure there are other valid methods... Those are some I try to follow.

I don't think he was really being a writing nazi by asking people to stop abbreviating 3 letter words or making it readable.

Also i challenge you to find a book that has no paragraphs or punctuation, if you think block text refers to a large amount.

As for the first part. When english isn't your first language you won't spell like that. They will atleast do their best to get their points across. And the way you typed that out just makes it sound like everyone who don't have english as a first laguage is stupid and will put comas and dots in the middle of a word, and are even stupid enough to vary between small and large letters to make it sound even more pathetic, even though every language (atleast that I know of that use the latin alphabet) have a large letter at the begining of every new sentence, when refering to the name of a person, city, country etc. The only real exception I know of is the word "I" in the english language, which is most likely because you refer to yourself as a person, and thus your own name. And it would sound pathetic to refer to yourself in third-person.

Anyway, on to the next part. Even books have paragraphs. And you obviously haven't read one if you say otherwise, or you simply don't know how you can split things up in paragraphs correctly. Here, let me show you by typing the rest of the post in the other way you can do it. Sadly, since most forums online doesn't support the other way to do it (which is why people use the most common way to do it) I have to type it out in a more annoying way.

If you type like that in real life, I feel sorry for you. Because I highly doubt you will ever get a high-paying job. And I seriously do not understand how you could even graduate with such a terrible spelling, gramatical knowledge, and knowledge about how to use dots and comas. However, I also doubt people type like that in real-life since people tend to perform better when it comes to their real-life work. And since this is online, people probably get more lazy.
   However, it's not really that much more trouble to not be lazy and type out two or three more letters. I admit, I used to type like that once, but I stopped doing that when I turned 13, since I realized that it effected my real-life typing aswell. Since I was so used to typing like that, I did it to most of my computer written schoolwork too, unless I concentrated on not doing it. Which in, return, ment that it took longer time to type it, and I had to read through it atleast once, since handing over something to my teacher with u's and r's in it automatically ment that your grade was decreased (she hated it since very many did it). Eventually, I got away from my bad habit, and I'm extremely glad that I did.
   Oh, and btw. I don't pick on people for typing like that in-game. Since it's short phrases, it's not even nearly as bothersome as when someone does it in an online forum when you type out a long-ass post. It is, indeed, very hard to take you seriously, and I'm sorry to say, that most of the time when a post lacks paragraphs, dots and comas, I usualy just skip it because it takes too long to read and makes my head hurt, since it means you have to concentrate more to understand what that person tried to tell you.

book have many proof reader and other people that look at it before it is written. This is not a book is a discusion, a note it not suppost to be perfect, no one paying to see people write words here. most these people are not even out of school and other just dont want or have the time to sit here and proof read there post.
 
First of all I didn't compare anything to nazis or call anyone any sort of Nazi cause that shits serious, this topic is just bs. Don't joke or screw around with stuff like that.

Second of all, the point about bringing books up is that ya, there are paragraphs... But whats a paragraph... It would be a box of organized text... If you can read a pararaph of font size 12 in a book then you should be fine reading this large text on a website...

Thirdly... I congradulated you for learning english... I don't think its better then any other language and I actually prefer Spanish and wish I could learn german on top of already knowing English,Spanish, and french (though my Spanish is a bit shaky).

Fourth... Theres a difference between spelling and grammar... I'm sure your 7yr old sister can write much better then that. That was the whole point of writing it. (At least I hope she can).
 
It's not really abbreviating, it's just shorthand. I'm on my PS2 half the time, and I broke my USB Keyboard awhile back(Socom Clan War, I 'FPS Doug'd it :P), just typing "u" for "you" on the on-screen saves a bit more time than you'd think.
