I'm wondering if anyone else has this issue.

With Virtual Console releasing quite a few popular games, and now Wii-Ware, etc, ever notice how fast the memory blocks get used up? Are there any plans for the Wii to get any external memory cards or something? Or are they just going to force you to buy another Wii... one for actual gaming.. and another for Wii-Ware/Virtual Console

You can already buy memory cards for the Wii.

Yeah, you can buy SD cards which are dirt cheap to add to the Wii's system memory. A 2GB card(4x the internal memory) runs you maybe $12 at most places around here.

Oooo, k, thanks guys
The shop here doesn't have any memory cards, but SD cards I can get quite easily^^

lol The memory cards and SD cards are one in the same.

The only real problem (aside from needing other memory peripherals) is that you'll be playing musical chairs with your downloaded games. You can't run games off memory cards, to stop piracy of them and all that, or at least that's the only reason I can come up with. So you'll have to transfer them to the Wii memory if you want to play them. And if you're near the storage cap, you'll need to transfer something onto the memory card to make room for the game, but if you want to play that game again, you'll have to transfer it onto the Wii memory, etc.

I have the same problem with everything on the 360 20GB HDD. It's easy to deal with if you aren't one of those people who just like to have every game on your HDD all at once.

Not to mention Nintendo's a bunch of fucking retards in that just recently, you can save games directly to the SD Cars. And it's still pretty rare. Oh, and to copy a saved game on to a Wii, you need to have played that game on that system first. What the fuck kind of moronic crap is that?
