Win or lose != experience (for you pchan)

If Pchan got demoted from the status he is, I wonder if he'd cry and bitch about it and then tear down all his artwork telling people that mods were out to get him for false reasons.
 
Technically my dig wasn't at Pchan.

While I don't hold Salvage in quite the same esteem, I have nothing against him. I do wish that he'd never gotten that Peregrine complex over it.

My dig was at the French.

You think wrong, not surprising, but I'm not even the first person to have noticed that the only thing he EVER talked about was salvage; let alone his god complex about it.

I saw that "Thinking about doing Salvage" thread in GD the other day and before I even clicked, I said to myself "I guarantee mdk and pchan have already posted here". Alas, I was correct. Then I lol'd.

I would consider it a good thing that they will still post about salvage when it's appropriate. If I had any questions about salvage, I would take what they had to say about it over something said by, i don't know, Timwakefield for example.

What got annoying was for a while every post was "Salvage" in threads that had nothing to do with it. This has been toned down a lot lately (either that or some corrupt, money-laundering, crack-addicted, baby-killing mod is deleting posts), and it's much appreciated. Pchan seems to provide more useful information anymore compared to the majority of the QCDN population.

That was everyone's problems with him, and it was the later that was far more common.

Only because the majority of the QCDN population uses the website for social interaction than for getting information. But of the ones who are actually providing information, he's near the bottom of the list, unless you only want salvage information.

I gotta agree. When it comes to Salvage info, sure; I'd take Uzor/mdk/pchan/Dayner's advice over nearly anyone (in a QCDN-respect; there are folks ingame that don't post here that I'd take info from more than even them), but when every post is along the lines of "omg that's easy, anyone who cannot do it is gimp" (we're not talking CoP missions here, either), it tends to get old really fast.

Whoever said pchan has a God complex overshot, it's just a superiority complex, and while that isn't bad in and of itself, mixing it with his general level of arrogance makes it completely tasteless.
 
Well if you have questions on Dynamis too, ask us, cause having pulled ( me) and main sleep ( pchan) about 300 dynamis runs, we know quite a bit. Only reason we quit it is gimps like badewind suck all the fun off it.
 
So basically this whole thread boils down to, "pchan we're tired of you talking about salvage, and btw, you're a jerk"

From what I read, this thread is not bringing anything up everyone doesn't already know, and isn't even just a legit flame, more of a... whine...

Anyone who has taken the kind of time Pchan has to test game mechanics deserves some kind of respect, annoying posts involving Salvage or not. Gonna have to agree with Carste here, he has made contributions.

Except there hasn't been much actual testing, he's just been doing salvage and saying his results. It's the same kind of testing as someone leveling a job to 75 and then giving advice about it.
 
Experiences would be a better word than results, since again, no real testing.
