Woo!!!! Skydiving!!!!!!!!

This was quite frankly the most incredible time of my life. I went skydiving last saturday (the 1st of August). The weather was incredible. I jumped from a little Cessna at 12,000 feet, my first jump ever. I was scared to death, but not till I actually sat over the edge of the jump opening, and it all sunk in. I'm afraid of heights pretty badly. Had to do it. I'll be doing it again. It was 250.00 for the jump and 150.00 for the arial photographer/cameraman. I full length movie will be mailed to me shortly, but they posted a teaser on their website. I'll post the link.

Everyone should do this at least once. The more afraid you are, the more you should do it. You'll never look at things the same again. You only live once. I plan on living it like a king.

i have to be honest here... i went skydiving once... it was a cool feeling and all but i probably wont do it again because truthfully it was a bit boring to me. its incredible for 30 seconds... then you realize your up there for another 10 minutes or whatever.

I'm just the opposite - I'd be more hesitant to bungie jump. The way I see it, in both cases, you're falling from a height where equipment failure will kill you. You have two parachutes, a main and a reserve, in skydiving. You only have one bungie cord. I think skydiving is actually the statistically safer activity.

I get that. I have about the same amount of fear of both activities, it comes down to if the equipment were to fail.. it would be over very quick had my choice been to bungie jump rather than having a much longer period of time to call myself an idiot for jumping in the first place and choosing such a dangerous activity lol.

Awesome man. I was scared shitless the first time I did it, but it was well worth it in the end. I had more fun under canopy than I ever have in the cockpit.
