Wrestling Thread! Wrestlemania XXV...Texas!

Eh, mix it up a bit before Cena and Y2J at Survivor Series.
 
I thought they were building to a Cena V Batista rematch after Batista "caused" Cena's injury, I still think they'll make it a triple threat match at Survivor Series. Wasn't Cena supposed to get the title back around now, after coming back from his previous injury? I'm sure i read something about him winning it again around the end of the year.
 
Let's all just giggle at the fact that Batista had the title taken away from him after 8 days and let's just pray that the WWE executives realize that both Batista and Cena well...suck and keep the champion on Y2J. I'd really like to see a feud between Y2J and Punk. That'd be amazing.

Idk if they will realize that. Cena is the biggest thing in the company. He isn't like super over like Austin or Rock, but he has his own different thing going.

I like Cena (and i don't hate Batista) i doubt he'll win the championship right away but i definatly think he should get another title reign soon, possibly for Wrestlemania... hasn't he headlined the past 4?

I've been getting a little bored of Y2J recently, hopefully he'll pickup his act again.

Edit: I can't stand Punk, like change the channel when he comes out hate >_>

Edit#2: Shame Evan Bourne got injured last week, but can't say it's a suprise.
 
I wonder if HHH is getting annoyed with Jeff Hardy yet, since they've had what...4 matches for the WWE title in the past several months? It's interesting to see how much longer this feud will continue. I kinda like Hardy being pushed. It's about time since he's been in the company over 10 years already. Thought it would've been nice for Matt and Jeff to hold two top titles together. Sadly though, it seems like Hardy only has a chance to win if there are more than just him and HHH involved in the match. Like if Koslov lolHeadbutts HHH, Hardy dropkicks him out of the ring, then scores the win.

Sidenote: Anyone else glad Khali is finally getting a face turn? Having all but 1 giant as a monster heel gets a little old. His comedy heel routine was okay, but he is merely a padawan compared to Santino Marella's portrayal. lol @ his Kiss Cam segments though.

It looks like hes gonna be replacing Evan Bourne as mysterio's partner lol

I personally liked Kane when he wasn't a heel but still kept his monster act. Now he gets pushed around by mysterio -.- Blergh
 
I just saw Colin Delaney wrestle in person and he wasn't that bad...

If anyone gets a chance to hit up a Chikara show I highly recommend it. It's great fun!
 
Jeff hardy found unconcious in his hotel room earlier today. Interesting Survivor Series coming up.
 
Nice to see Edge as champion again. Bad to see Cena as champion again. lol

Good PPV altogether though!
 
I like Cena as champ since its been so long, but not at the cost of getting Y2J another ridiculously short reign.

Yeah, I like Cena as champ too since it's been a while, but not that Y2J had another short title hold.

Best PPV in a long time. Shame about the commentary sucking all night.
 
So yeah, let's see if Y2J will get the title at Armageddon, though I doubt Cena will have that short of a title reign, but wouldn't surprise me if he did.

I'll be happy if Y2J gets his title back. I'm still concerned with Cena though. You don't have neck surgery and just come back three months later. That's dangerous in my opinion.

Yeah, Cena's a beast though, he just bounces back quick. Not smart no, but he loves the business, it's his life. He wants it that way.
He pushes himself to get back that much faster, go through the physical therapy, which he's usually ahead of by a few weeks of where he should be.
It may have implications for him in the future, it may not, we'll just have to see.

As for the title, I'm happy with Cena or Y2J having it, I wouldn't mind Orton getting it again relatively soon (within a few months) either.
 
I was hoping Orton would win that triple threat, can't say i was suprised he didn't though D:
 
They gotta milk the Orton/batista feud first. Which i think has a lot of potential. I'm just afraid batista is gonna come out of it winning. I really liked the SS finish of that match and hope orton wins this feud.

And I hope Cena doesn't end up like Austin with his neck <.<
 
I know he likes to push himself to get back but if there is one injury you should really watch out for it is your neck...

Though I'm sure people have told him, but he just wants to wrestle, so he may have brushed them off.
