Wrestling Thread! Wrestlemania XXV...Texas!

I didn't watch it in the end, couldn't justify spending £15 on HBK/Taker match alone.

Cena wont have another year long reign as he is supposed to start filming another movie in July/August I believe. I guess they just wanted him to have a brief title reign before he takes a few months off.

MitB: I thought this was fantastic. The botches actually made the match just that much better and it was nice to see the talent able to turn it around and use their skills and experience to pull off such an awesome MitB match. I'm definitely shocked by the outcome! Did I like the outcome...well I'd rather have Shelton win for once.

Kid Rock concert: Fail to me. I took this time to take my nightly dump so I missed most of it.

Diva Battle Royal: Santina Marella! Need I say more?

IC Match: The good thing about this match was that I didn't have to see Rey Mysterio for more then 50 seconds. That's enough win for me.

Legends vs Jericho match: Great match. Ricky looked fantastic and I enjoyed it. I was hoping for the Ram Jam though!

Hardy vs Hardy: Quite possibly the 2nd best match of the night imo. As much as I hate Jeff Hardy they both pulled a great match out and the ending was phenominal.

Undertaker/HBK: That camera man will surely be fired!

Triple Threat: Not too bad of a match but horrible ending. Tired of Cena as usual.

HHH vs Orton: The match blew. None of us were into it and the ending was just so anti-climactic that it was a horrible way to end.

All in all I was very happy with the first matches but once the world titles came on it was downhill. It should have been Taker/HBK as the ender!
 
And you thought WM25 wouldn't be good BECAUSE of Taker/HBK, Miros. Shame on you! lol.

And he actually got to not only pin HHH but also knock him out for it. This is great
 
Question is how long will he have the belt.
 
Did anyone catch Backlash? The crowd singing "Nananana hey hey goodbye" to HHH was priceless.
 
Top two heels are the main champions now, hopefully they'll shell out some better fueds than Cena/Edge or Orton/HHH this time.

Well orton/batista I think is worse then orton/hhh. Not that it matter much we all know priceless will interfere at judgment day which will set up a hell in the cell at extreme rules. Edge vs hardy will be better match and punk will most likly come out on to after judgement day.
 
Something happened on Smackdown that I hoped would happen since Miz and Morrison broke up. Seems like Morrison is finally starting to turn face. He's ALWAYS been a heel since he started. It's nice to see a change. Miz makes the better heel and Morrison has the potential to be a fan favorite with his mic skills and in-ring ability. Guess we'll see how it plays out.

I was thinking the same thing! I freaking love Morrison (it's the abs) and I can't wait to see him chase the intercontinental again. lol
 
So they have Khali demolish their top stars for months and now they have him jobbing to rookies, how cute lol
 
Oh no, they're doing that again? Why do they always have stars squash people then become jobbers later? So unrealistic.

Thats the route all monsters in WWE go <_< Some are still more of a threat than others because they still win now and again (kane)
 
Yeah I had kane in mind too when I made that statement. He was so invincible when he first debuted and now look at him. At least he's established enough to still hold some wins here and there. They did it to viscera too. Started strong as Mable then jobbed as "the love machine" version of Viscera until he became big daddy V then he started winning again. But your right though, this mostly happens to monster characters.
 
Monster characters were great when they had different promotions around the states. They could come in, rampage the place for a while and then leave to another promotion haflway across the US and still be the monster they are.

This is one of the difficult things with WWE today. They have ultimately buried Kane by having him job to Rey so so so many times. He's so freaking tiny and it's not believable. Now whenever I hear Kane's explosions I just wonder who will beat him this time.
