I don't fully understand what you are triing to say? All of my posts in the good times thread, other than the ones about my SAM, were directed toward the OP about his boasting and thinking that it's ok to steal. Plus the few that I directed toward the other people who agree with him. On a side note I was posting the thread that you quoted before I even saw the one that you posted above it. Well enough of this I'm going to my girlfriends house. I'll pop back in later to see what other excuses people can come up with to justify what a morally bankrupt person like cocken did.

I do agree if the idea is to fuck RMT, by all means drop the item. But some of you people are go entirely too far on this issue making comparisons to things that have absolutely no bearing or even the closest semblence to the issue at hand.

The thing is that it's not screwing RMT over if you keep the item. Sure, you didn't pay for it, but the value of the item gained by RMT players remains in the game, regardless of whether you received the item for free or not. They used their time to create value, unless that value is destroyed they are not screwed, because that errant will one day be sold to someone who will buy it with gil he bought from RMT in order to afford it. See what I mean?

Regardless, cokenn clearly knew what he was doing, he posted once that "I think for a while, then decide ill give it a try.", and later "I actually thought about that, felt bad for a bit, then got the anmity cape synthed into an errant."

What many players, and people in general, do not understand is that they need to see a situation in the frame of reference of the other person. Here we are, running our mouths off about Chinese who play (or farm if you will) to earn a living.

Ask yourself what you would do if you had the choice between hard physical labor to make ends meet, or to sit at a computer and click the same macro over and over? What would you do? Most of you wouldn't last a a few hours in the rice fields.

I can understand the hate, but it is directed at the wrong people entirely.
