Wtf is with this CoP War/Nin & Nin/War Bullshit

Whatever dude believe what you want.

Panda: "Im always right."
Where were just wrong right then with that comment.
No one is ever "Always Right"

I am. Like I said, you don't need to accept it for it to be true.

Well, if Panda is always right, then he can't be human, being that all humans make mistakes. So either he's God, which can't be the case since God has better spelling (I've seen it, I know. o.o ), or he's... Well, why don't we just ask?

So, Panda, what are ya?

Well, first of all, im a girl, but then again, since I am a transcended being, I guess my sex encompasses both the male and female hormones, since being that I'm always right, I take in the knowledge of instinct that is passed down through both sexes.

I think "God" is too general of a term for me. I prefer, "All Knowing Uber Supreme Being" or something more erratic like that.

Or I could just be a smart ass having fun with someone who's getting really angry over something so stupid

XD

He's just the generic term I use. *shrugs*

And I like that second option. ^_^

Trust me I was only really angry at getting kicked, as for your comments I dont really care you can post how ever you want it is the Flameboard after all.

After my original post I wasn't angry anymore I was more interested in what people had to say thus their "Opinions". but being the "Supreme Uber Being" being or whatever I wouldve thought you wouldve known that.

Every job works, I know this for a fact, some set-ups may have a little bit more trouble then the other, Just a little. (Im not Neosquall, He does not have Chains of Promathia) Anyways... Lets go through a review of jobs and their roles in CoP:

WAR: Can Sub NIN, makes a pretty good tank early on, later on its too rough, still possible but rough, of course later on it becomes a Damage Dealer mainly.

MNK: Im not too Familer on MNK but I know they work as I've had a few MNK friends who've done these missions and it worked fine. I have no experience with MNK but I know people who used it.

WHM: Well...its pretty much a given if you want a healer in your group...yea...

BLM: Work on BC's like every job, but theres a few BC where BLM shine: Riverne Site B01, Bearclaw P., Mine Shaft #XXXX (What job doesn't work on those Moblins . (`_>`);) I have no experience with BLM but I know people who used it.

RDM: Pretty much the same as BLM, works on every BC, definatly a job choice starting at 50 Cap but it can be used before that. Has the same high points as BLM. I have no experience with RDM but I know people who used it.

THF: Yea, seems like it would not work on these BC no? Well it does, Also does very well on Bearclaw Snoll Tzar, Proof? Theres a video roaming around on FFXIonline, Allakhazam, etc.... I have no experience with THF but I know people who used it.

PLD: I've used PLD Tank for all the missions up to Omega/Ultima and will continue to use them, so on and so forth.

DRK: I personally do not know any Dark Knight who've done CoP as well...Dark Knight. I'm sure it can work fine if used right and I'm pretty sure someone , somewhere , uses/used DRK and it worked on these missions.

BST: Yea, while a very not so looked over job, its great for BC with Multiple Mobs since a Jugged Pet can hold for a bit, BST can also be a damage dealer w/|w/out Pet for the BC's. No experience with one.

BRD: Always nice to have mages get a refresh or the Melee do more damage to kill off the monster quicker right? Of course it is, back-up healing, great buffs, BRD definatly work while few do BRD. I know a few who have done BRD and did fine, but myself has yet to experience the use of one.

RNG: RNG work, no you do not need a RNG to do these missions, are RNG nice though? Yes... What do they do? Damage of course.

SAM: 60+ BC Battle, SAM mimics a RNG , quite well if I do say so myself..
piror 60, it still works just gotta find out the role to use it in.

NIN: Many people used NIN/WAR through out CoP, NIN is definatly a great tank, but theres some BC where its not the best, same goes for PLD, but they both work in each and every BC. As long as you have a tank.

DRG: See THF. In the video roaming around, they use a DRG, and....like I've said for every job posted above, it works for every BC.

SMN: The Last Job on the list, SMN Buffs (Stone + Blink) and 2hour are great, once again its not needed, but its always nice to have atleast 1 with you.

So as you see, each job has its high and low points, but they all work. Don't think just because you got one job at the level for the mission you can't do it. But you need a few things: Hope, knowing your job and role in the battle, and determination.

Please, if you have the "These missions are impossible, I give up!" or the "Im spending all my Gil on this, its not even worth it" or the "What a waste, worst expansion ever" Attitude, I suggest you try to fix that or do something about it, those are the exact attitudes which cause loss and you don't even have a sense of hope.

That is all~ 8)

Except for the original proms Im doing everything as drk...going well so far ^^

relax, im just messin with ya, work is boring.

neo's got a good point, though I think that people aren't really willing to try anything new because the war/nin combo has been tried and proven multiple times. I think that because this mission can be such a pain in the ass people don't really want to take the chance in the case that it doesnt work.

Yeah. Work sux I cant wait to get my new job in the USAF cause this civilan work is boring as hell.

People need to be more inovative and daring. The best party (exp wise) Ive ever been in made no sense but xp was fast and in rediculasly large amount. 3xRng, Pld, Whm, Rdm in the Valley of Sorrows. Hate control was rediculas but we never had one death and we all lvl 2-3 times 57-60 so thats alot of exp.

I think Neosquall was there on his Pld actually cause I remember you complaining about your pt. XD

May be a conflict of stories here... but our leader said that you left, Devastator. We'd asked you to switch to RNG (since we needed more DD with our strategy), and you refused to, complaining about it the whole while. He then said that you could leave, and you said that you would...

Anyway, we didn't complete the mission until two days later. That night we didn't even get everyone to Monarch Linn due to a disconnect, and the next night we died after getting the last mammet to ~10% HP. :(

Oh plus about my Rng I stated that it was lvl 37. Would you really want a 37 Rng/ 15 Nin in a CoP mission. Thus why I only used it twice for Promy's and a couple BCNN's I hate the playing as the job ( No offense to Rngs ) I'd rather Samurai DD.

In my experience, a lot of the "tank prejudice" boils down to what people were told themselves early on. Like with the Steaming Sprouts BCNM40, I was told (amusingly enough) that there was no way a Pld could tank the black mandy.

12 successful runs later, I can offically say that that is a load of feces.

Ditto for Promy-Mea, where I had people (Not from my LS, thankfully) tell me that again, Pld couldn't do it. I'll admit that it took a little while to figure out, but when we finally got the strategy down, we sailed through that fight.

Sure, there are some things where blink-tanking is very handy. And others where the sheer hate control of a Pld is essential. But as a general rule, they're reasonably interchangeable.

Dude, PLD is like THE only tank that has the balls to go heads on with the bosses in Promyvion. Glad to say, my LS and I are those few people who live and die by the sword and we have BALLS.

Yeah. War/Nin, No thanks man. Fear Gangstareborn! We pwned Promyvion over and over again as Paladins.

Oh yea, one more thing, most of our promies were done before the patch where it made Promyvion into pussies only area. :P

Yeah, until they die, then everyone runs like hell for the exit. I've never seen a pld get up and keep tanking while weakened. Nin's however, I've seen it fairly often. Who's got the balls now?

I'd get up and tank weakened in a second. Even with the lowered HP, PLD can still take the hits fairly well if the WHM keeps on them like glue. Plus, Invincible makes for a 30 seconds of bought time. :P
