WTF is wrong with people...

I'm posting this in the flame board because its pretty much a flame:

I was lfp in Jeuno and someone I had pt'd a few nights ago invited me to start a pt with him. His name is Brucebob. We finally get the pt together and he asks us where to go. Finally, after about 10 min of "here's good" and "that place is slow exp" we eventually head off to Garliage Citadel. Exp is going fine but then we see him say "I only need 4 more seals to 40 so I'm going to lot for any that come up". I respond with "Then I'll lot too, because I'd like them as well". He immediately states that RNG is a very expensive job and he's soo poor and proceeds to set himself as quatermaster. The rest of the pt sees this and proceeds to yell at him for his actions as we continue fighting. Still, he leaves quatermaster on and continues pulling at an obnoxious rate, not even allowing us to get a reasonable amount of MP. Thank god nobody died from some of this crappy pulling. I got my level and a replacement and got out of there. I just wanted to give you guys a heads up about this (_._) _[]_ (asshat). Setting quartermaster in an EXP party is completely rude and should not be tolerated unless there is a FULL party agreement on the matter. If you've had similar experiences, please post.

Leader gets all drops and then can decide after, by trading, who gets what.

I had that happen a long time ago. I was still around 30 with my War and I started a party with a Whm. After we were all together and heading into the jungle the Whm says "I am going to set Quartermaster so I can pay a pal of mine to PL us. He will only do it if we give him all the drops". Half of us DB and run back to Kazham.

You should have disbanded and set an example. I bet if you had done that then others in the party would also have done the same or maybe even all disbanded to start a new party. Thats just unacceptable any way you look at it.

To add, after the rare/ex, or ex stuff has fallen, so to say, it goes to 1 person, and thus cant be traded anymore. Such is the case here with the Seals, which are Ex.

I see quartermaster set, you will see me casting warp VERY soon after, or have the BLM cast a D2 on the PT leader and get a new whatever.

I hate the excuse "Its so hard for job "X" to make money/its so expinsive, so I deserve speciale priveliges over you."

Also I ahte camps where other parties/peoples failings can directly impact you... Brought that up because I have had alot of good potential exp parties ruined in Garlaige lately by 10+ wingrats and I am damn sick of it.

I don't like it when people request for SUPER common items. Can I have those crystals? Can I have those beastman seals?

I need to level my crafts, I need to do bcnm. Well, everyone has a purpose for everything. Even asking in our little passive society, majority of the time, the response you get is "I don't care, alright, sure." but if someone goes "Well, I need it too" all of a sudden, that guy requesting it too is a bad guy. Now that's screwed up. It makes me feel

I don't mind people lotting for really expensive items (Spider webs comes to mind, or a scroll) or ex items such as keys and stuff, but leave the other items alone because those aren't as common and most of the time can't be farmed. However, you don't see anyone saying, oh, can I have your gil drop from the goblin? Same idea... the goblin dropped 80 gil. The goblin dropped a fire crystal worth 300 gil (300/6 = 50 gil for the party members technically.)

My two gil:

First gil- Disband and set an example, I would have. I get REAMED on the random drops, but it's still the most fair way outside of lotting it evenly.

Second Gil- If your puller strains you to the last little bit of your mp then it's a GOOD thing. If you need mp for an emergency such as a link, they can always kite the mob a little while you regen the little bit more you need.

theres so much wrong with that statement, i dont know where to start.

"kite the mob"? that works in maybe 2 places. everywhere else, you'll either get MORE links, or theres no room to move around. And some places have both (damn garliage)

Its always good to have MP for emergencys, Pullers need to stop being so full of themselves and watch the mages MP consumption in battles. learn how much MP they need each fight, and make sure they always have at least 1.5 of that when you pull.

the only reason i did that is it the only way i make gil i never camp NM or buy gil so i needed 40 seals and was 4 away and you forgot to say about tthere was no crystle drops and beetle drops and i gave away the jaws to the people that wanted them and u forgot to say that to and i on;y had 1 bad pull so not trying to piss people off it just you said i'm going to lot to and you could still be 51 if i did not invite you but anyway

but any way sorry man next time i wont invite a too weak pld nin are alot better anyway but thf was too weak

Tell me something, can you READ posts before you open your mouth to flame. The intention of my post was to point out that if the mages have the mp for ONE last fight to get an extra chain then the puller should go ahead and pull.

If they get a link it is then the puller's job to handle it. I only said this to prevent some dumbass from saying... "What if the puller gets a link? Then you'd be in trouble."

Then it's the puller's job to handle it until the group can manage it, or to take the death for the goof.
