Why the hell are RMT advertising in the Open Beta? It makes no sense. None of their gil is going to carry over to retail. Also they need to get support desk up so we can report the spam advertisement to get them out ASAP.

Get used to it romper. This is the reality of all mmo's and you know it. I just turned off shouts because for now there is no need to listen to shouts anyway.

I found it amusing after I got over the initial shock that they're already doing their thing, even in beta. And why not sell it? People just starting out would find the prospect of 100k for four dollars rather tempting, I'd think.

Except all that gil they're making is gone on the 22nd (or 21st when they decide beta is no longer open). I really don't want another x-mas 2006 to happen in this game. I doubt it will as crafting is a bit more accessible (even though it's can be annoying).

I do know it. I'm just shocked because it's beta. At least with Aion the game was already a year old, and coming over from Korea so that didn't shock me. I don't recall a lot of spam in Warhammer at launch either.

When I played XI I don't really recall the open spam messages, and my first encounter was with WoW.
