Just curious while viewing the latest conquest regions, has windy ever owned the dunes? I cant say I can ever recall it being controlled by them, would sure save a long walk for those new tarus with short legs.

It looks almost run-down, like a long-dead civilization used to live there and nature is taking it back. Plus it's so fucking big it's annoying to get around everywhere. You'd think that with it's primary populace being as small as they are they'd build the city so they wouldn't have to walk a mile and a half between their AH and their mog houses.
And it's really damn annoying, half the taru's can talk normally; apparently the rest are just retarded-arded.
LOL no. Windurst has the worst leaders, because they don't LEAD, they do what they're told from reading the stars. The current leader is actually making decisions, but she's desperate to return to a life of no responsibility where she doesn't have to do anything.
Bastok has by far the best president, because his only downside is that he doesn't give a shit about the galkas, which isn't a big deal anyways. Sandy's leader is a dishonorable coward, Windy's is a weak-willed pussy; Apathy easy trumps both of those in the "great leader" department.
He's talking about NM's, not normal drops.

You spelled suck wrong.
There's only maybe 2 "good" drops in windurst, a lot of running for a city; and several places for any member to completely wipe the alliance moving between camps, depending on your strategy.

Well, since Dynamis is the opposite-land of Vana'diel, if Dynamis-Windurst = the worst, then Windurst = the best by default.
BAWWWWWWWW teleport-tarutarus are placed at great spots to get to ANYWHERE fast.

If you have a problem with how "large" the city is, then you have a very simple memory and can't be bothered to learn where the important things are and how to quickly get to them. You probably don't even know about the npcs that warp you throughout the city, do you?

Except that it's NOT opposite, so worst still means worst.
It still takes twice as long to go to the teleport-taru, teleport, then run to wherever I wanted to go than it does to just go there in any other city. Plus, those taru's are only good for changing to only one zone, if you want to go to the others you have to walk or go to your mog house. The teleport taru's just make it slightly more bearable, the city is still way too big.
Neither does being a pedophile's dream come true.
Where is this reference leading to? He hasn't posted in this thread at all, so I have no clue what he's said. Your starting zone NM's suck though. The best by far is the pilgrim's wand and Bounding Boots beat the shit out of that.

Except that no new player is going to have the money to buy them, so they'd be camping them which renders r/ex meaningless. Plus, back before they were r/ex, new players could just camp the lizzy boots for money. leaping boots could still be used past 50 without being seriously gimp(for some jobs), Pilgrim's wand's usefulness ends at 51 exactly.
