Just me though. I agree since this a board for FFXI that the FFXI boards should be above GD but then again i really don't give a shit. On the point of GD being non-ffxi making off-topic irrelevant, i always saw off-topic as more worthless shit no one cares about and really doesn't make a diffrence and GD being a spot for worthwhile convos. Also with this board descript being: "If its about FFXI and doesnt belong anywhere else, it belongs here. New players welcome!" i dont really see this as a rep for GD, but w/e works.

That's the new description which was put in after it was changed, before the forums were changed for the new format it was everything XI related that doesn't go anywhere else. As it is now, it's just an off-topic section which is pointless since we already had one.

Except what people are saying is that the GD has always been FFXI-ish. While the not-FF GD went in off topic. No we have 1 non-FF GD thread with no FF in it, 1 "non'-FF GD thread with lots of FF in it, and 1 FF GD thread with no FF in it.

I still say give him time to sort it out and it could be pretty nice.

90% of what was in the GD forum before this change was FFXI related. Anything else was supposed to be moved to off topic, so if there were threads that didn't belong it's the mods' fault for not moving the thread. Now, there's two threads dedicated to topics that have nothing to do with FFXI, when there only needs to be one and that's what we had before.

Yes, right after the change it became something else. At that point I couldn't figure out where to post about FFXI. But Reeve fixed that lil problem so it's all good now. Other GD is non-ffxi related, this one is. It looks more oraganized this way and I'm sure Reeve thinks that too.

Hmm I just read over my recent posts because I actually thought hey maybe he's right, but if you look you'll notice that the majority of my posts in serious threads (bonecrafting thread isn't a serious thread @.@) actually do contribute to the discussion.

Just like how people skip over the positive and only notice the negative. ~.~;

Edit: I may be a dick about it on occassion (read: occassionally like additional effects not ridills), but that doesn't discredit my contributions

At no point do I say you don't contribute, but you invariably troll windaria around, and never contribute to the discussion after replying to her. And, while you might have some positive effect, you troll enough that you're easily memorable for doing so; so it's obviously not a rare occurance.
