I'm not surprised that its religious...its just more religious than I expected with actually introducing religious figures as part of the game ;x
 
So...I wanna go play Xenogears again now, which isn't a bad thing.. <3 Chu-chu!(Yes I know I'm nuts because of that statement), but I still need to play XSII and pickup XSIII before I can play XG again! ><

LOL, I actually liked Chu-Chu also, she was on my team for the final battle in the game, I never used Rico much though, after the whole Prison thing he was always in my reserves. Main team usually was Fei, Billy, Citan, with Bart coming in once inawhile just for fun. Now I wanna play it also....
 
Yeah playing Xenosaga III has made me want to play my ps1 and play Xenogears again too. I didn't like Xenosaga II much so I just saw all the cut scene by themselves from a torrent I got a while back.

I have a question for those that have gotten past disk 2. Towards the end of disk 1 when Shion is saying "I have to it put it back in" was that part censored or was I missing something in that scene? thanks.
 
Heheh, yeah she says it like 50 times and the whole time im lookin around the screen for something. I think they took something out of her mom and put it in Shion, mabye she thinks replacing it would save her or something.

One of the best part about the battles is that when a character is dead at the end of a fight they still get xp. It always drove me nuts when I took 15 minutes to fight a boss and 2 of my characters dont get some of the 30,000 xp that makes a 5 level gap between my active crew... *sigh* Reload...
 
I beat the game...they definitely left it open for more sequels if they wanted to make them ;x
 
After I finish this chapter I'm on Disc 2. I want more E.S. battles.

You'll get plenty on disc 2 ^^
 
You mean the scenes from the previous game? It does not. So Xenosaga 2 gets left out, because you can watch any scene in Xenosaga 3 again after you see it the first time.
 
xenosaga 3 is very awesome, cleared disc 1 last night. HaKox is fun and insanely frustrating at times. I love "cheating" by knocking characters across levels though. There was one stage on which you're supposed to have characters walk around a largish square using the gimmicks to keep people on the track, but instead I let the characters walk up to the first gimmick, turned them around, and bounced them straight onto the exit square <3

Only the EU release had this, AFAIR, because XS1 was not released in Europe.

If this intro thing is all(most) of the scenes from XS1 than yes US had it too. If it isn't someone tell me what it is.

Actually Xenogears had left out a lot of things, every character was supposed to be given an omnigear upgrade, Maria's gear emeralda's they were left out. A ton of more plot and char developement was what was left out.

i'd assume that is what "Not to mention the second disc was lacking cause Squaresoft rushed the production" is talking about.
 
I wouldn't say the second disc was lacking just that there could have been 2 more discs maybe thats all.
 
Question...I beat the whole game and never figured this out...

chaos and Jr have special attacks that "absorb souls". What purpose does this serve? ;/

My Jr. and Chaos both have identical exp and SP, because the only time I've used them is during ES boss fights in which one of my main members got one shotted by something stupidly powerful =x

I know :| they really need to remake Xenogears..
