What is cool though is Dave, and me getting the name Davesmule, I still remember Dave's descripiton of his feelingins when Davesmule was a taken name.

Sucked how we were in the same ls for a while. I ended up being Dave2 and Littledave. Sooo many mixups with people calling me Dave, and people calling Dave.. Dave in the same ls all the time ~.~
 
It's possible this person didn't mean to copy your name.....POSSIBLE I say. I've used the same name in RPGs for many years "Valmorden" but since Harry Potter's appearance kids ask me if I meant Valdamort (or whatever). Don't forget that people of similar cultural backgrounds are bound to share similar influences and as such choose similar names at some point. And I was Valmorden long before Harry Potter hit the shelves lol :)
 
Some guy named his Galka mule Thnikaman. When I was in Valkurm once, his main character came up to me and started yelling at me for stealing his mule's name. He was serious too, it was hilarious. After that he started using his Galka "Thnikaman" to /tell people stuff and made me look bad. He almost made someone quit and they started hating me. It hasn't happened in a long time though, I think he quit or deleted Thnikaman.

You got that right. It was VERY confusing when you were both in the LS at the same time^^.
 
I get /tells all the time from Mikeman. To bad he's an ass to me. I saw him one time and was like... woah... When i sarted playin FFXI my char was Mikeman but i didn't get into this server with my friends. So i made a new char but i couldn't call him Mikeman cause i had already registered that name and i guess it hadn't gone through SE that i had deleted him yet.

I was left dumbfounded cause in every game/forum i'm Mikeman. It took me about 30 min to think of another name... Mikemann!

But yeah the other Mikeman is a taru. Met him in jeuno once and said hi. I thought it was funny but he was like "Wooopty fuckin do. Was it your life goal to find me?"

I just hope people don't accedently send him gil when they try to send it to me.
 
i was in jeuno one day and received a tell from a gstringdivahehe and me being gstringdiva i was like whoa! and i asked who they were and they said gstring and i was like no im GSTRING not you ....... i mean after 2 yrs of playing i was the only Gstring that i knew of and then someone made the same name as me but they were mithra and im a tarutaru so in the end i really didnt care cause i knew i was still the original "gstringdiva " ........ i thought maybe it was a friend messing around or something but it wasnt 3 days later the name gstringdivahehe was deleted and i never got to find out if it was a friend or just someone who liked Gstringdiva and couldnt get it so put hehe at the end
 
As Dejavu CelestialKnights has their share or twins so to speak. There's Dejavu and Dejavue, but there is also Javier and Javir. O.o I unfortunately am technically the second. We get along great though. Coincidentally we use the same model, except I'm the blonde and he's the brunette(sp?) version of our model(Hume with the short spikey hair). Another odd thing, is I'm the RDM and he's the BRD =o. We've had people confuse us. ^^; felt bad, as one time it was one of his good friends who had quit and just come back to the game.
 
There is a JPN named Dire out there and there are more somthingwolfs then I can count. Well I am the riginal for that... Posers.
 
my mule's name is Nibbles.. but A LONG TIME AGO (about a year and a half ago) i met a 27'ish DRK in Khazam.. he's like "hah, my mules name is NIbbles".. apparently he quit and his mule's name got dropped back into the pot.. i was like "OMG HELL YEA" when i got Nibbles as my mules name.. signed on.. teppo /tell me "-. - name your mule dizzy"............ /sigh................. but my mule is still named Nibbles :P so Nibble and Nibbles is ME NOW WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOHOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

Cervantes signed up like a week before I did - we ended up meeting in Qufim as n00b WAR/THFs. He's an Elvaan and I think he's playing RDM if I'm not mistaken.
 
What I'm saying is, this person has an almost identical name, (that no, isnt like a person's first name or an object, it's a name that I made up) same nationalilty, race and class and I do not wish to be confused with this person.

at least you have fans ;)

i've only meet 2 people with my pandorda's look so if i ever see anyone with that taru and a name close i'ma beat them up. because i dont name my mules anywhere close to my originals names, they dont look like me either ^^
