You don't have to cheat to be sucessfull at end game!!!

Well, in the "good ole days" hacking pretty much garunteed you a claim since there was no delay after pop. Bots are hardly the advantage they once were. Its no coincidence right after they added the delay more NA's were claiming than ever before.
 
Bj, I have nothing against u, after all I remember when u were a lvl 66 WAR in BoL camping Simurgh with us, all I have against is, the coencidencal "issues" going on with some of the peeps in ur crew. Hell most my guys get flamed over some dumb ass babyshit, but just like any leader, your inclined to defend your crew, which I respect. I'm not gonna say "do the right thing" because many times I should have went by that phrase, just open your eyes a little more.
 
You know, this whole chronicles thing could've been dealt with with a simple "We're looking into it". I mean, just look at it from an outsider's pov. All of these things suddenly occuring all at the same time just piques curiosity. I'm sure if he were in some other ls that pers members would want to know wtf was going on. You wouldn't even really HAVE to look into it, just showing that you acknowledge that tons of people find something odd and that you'll do some private research would've been fine. It's all the straight denials and ignoring of what people are seeing that's making it into the huge ordeal that it is now. So really, just say "we'll look into it" then take a nap or hell, even actually look into it. It won't go away just by avoiding it.

Biggest problem is that the issue is not being addressed in an appropriate
manner, and that things are being exaggerated to the insane. If people want
to deal with Perseverance at an LS level, you talk to me or Arkaine. This
forum is not the way to go. Right now what I'm seeing is friends disclosing
screenshotted tells and post on forums as "evidence", friends turning on each
other etc. At the moment the end-game scene on the NA side is as bad as it
can get.
You'd be surprised how little it can take for two LS to "hate" each other on
this server. I was expecting more comradery among end-game LS than what
I so far have witnessed.
 
As ark said, we looked it to it plenty. We aren't idiots, despite what many may think, evne if the source was necro, who had gone way out of his way recently to fuck with us (CFHing on KV, GMing us for "stalling" KV, the silly /seacom battles with cix, etc etc). Didn't really think an announcment was really necessary that we were talking with people about it. As stated earlier, we took ALL evidence into consideration.
 
What struck me in that Arkaine screenshot, with Zoolanders comment about the delay thing, Provoke is instant! (probably a decasecond behind charm), well all I saw was a bunch of stun's go off (probably Ark had a filter up from outsider's casting P.o.V's) but again "Coiencidence" that Chronicle's voke was just "Perfect" enough to get the claim.. hmmmm what happened to that oh-so-wonderful new delay they put in?

Could it be possible that these new programs inhibit a "Second tone reaction" to claiming? Think about it... damn.... I been playing this way too freaking long, I need to just stop posting, and sharing all my P.o.V's because I don't know jack shit
 
Trust me Bj.. I know all to well what its like LS vs LS, LS vs Forum, LS vs Nonamers, LS vs Accusations, LS vs anything this game has to offer based on drama from qcdn, dont believe me? do a search on BoL, my name, or w/e BoL has been associated with in the search area. Read them, and l augh at them, because all that babyshit is a smudge compared to this new hype going around.

In the screenshot of the msn chatlong they were discussing different times (I think I remember necro saying something about .6-2.2 or 600-2200, guessing this is seconds firstly and miliseconds secondly), so I'm assuming whatever bot program it is (mrargus or that ffxiapp thing? Dunno) has a delay you can use before using the JA? Maybe chasym can tell us the inner workings of bots =P

All anyone's done in your shell up till this topic is just laugh it off or straight up deny it. I honestly don't see why some linkshells refuse to just nip problems in the bud before they blossom. It's not like this chronicles thing just started up, it's been going on a while now. Most people when called out on something will at least show up and try to defend themselves, right or wrong. You don't have to be nice (hell, I'm hardly ever nice on the flameboard), but you should at least show up and say something, or have a leader in your shell make a useful statement on your behalf if you want to stay out of it. That screenshot of the PM that Chronicles sent Neo shows that he obviously is paying a lot of attention to all of this, so why the silence?

Bj made a nice long post on the first flame on us that most people ignored. At the time, only leads were supposed to post. The silence? It was the flame board, where we knew pretty much anything we said would be turned around and how things could spiral out of control, especially with a maintenance at the time. Hell, just look into your own sig for an ill-advised post that shouldnt have happened. Most of the posts that we tried to use logic and facts on were ignored, so it just became pointless. Now we pretty much just laugh about these "facts" people bring up. We went well over a month with no fafnir claim and got lucky with 2 nidhoggs and somehow we were claiming everything. Hell somtimes I wish we had the claim rates people talk about us having, then I'd have a N head and ridill by now. And now this. Its just becoming tiresome. I guess its expected with everyone freaking about Chasyms post.

There were some small jabs posted a few pages back (prob a lot more by the time i post this) from pers to ck if you missed them, though this isn't what I was referring to. Personally, I don't care if Pers likes us or not. Most end game groups do their own thing. I can understand the sensitivity to certain comments given the issue being discussed in this thread though.

I was making a general statement about the proven hacking linkshells out there. You're one of them, so I suppose it does apply. I'm not downplaying your legit kills here. You guys are playing at a level I aspire my guys to reach as far as non-competitive kills go. You have a lot of players i respect over there and I can speak only praise for those individuals.

The fact remains that you're all guilty by association until action is taken against certain individuals (i'm generalizing here again, not directed at pers). It was the same way in CK, during our only incident. Shadowenigma was removed on the spot, despite the friendships, his role as a blm, and any other benefits the shell received from his presence. I coached shadow through rl issues, we were good friends, but when we discovered his flee tool we removed him immediately, no questions asked. We were all guilty so long as he had our pearl. Fortunately, he didn't show up to many events and only used his tool once or twice (always privately) before we caught him in the act.

Acceptance is only going to perpetuate the issue. If you don't want to be associated with cheating, then get rid of the cheaters. Its not a tough call to make if the evidence is there (and it is for plenty of these people). I guess I just don't understand why people don't just come clean and take steps to help Quetz solve the problem we're facing.

My comments in the previous post were mostly towards people who use bots to claim, then brag about how "we're more accomplished than you" because you have more abjurations through botted claims. We've got a little of that attitude from you guys but for the most part its others more than it is Pers. I see this as a recurring trend here, though, in several of these threads and it makes me sick, not just over my own LS, but others who work hard playing fair.

It just angers me when I'm told where my shell stands by people who use illigitimate techniques to earn their glorious reputations. It probably shouldn't, I admit, but I bet you'd be upset too if you didn't tolerate cheating.

I disagree, Pers isn't the only one with cheaters in ranks, so its totally unfair to put it all on their shoulders. I think public discussion could help shed some light on the situation and hopefully present some solutions to at least improve the conditions of end game play from what they are now. That's just my opinion I suppose.

Maybe people will see how much the cheats are ruining the server and stop, who knows.

It's best to keep it on Pers leaders shoulders and my shoulders. I'm pretty tired of the drama between these cheating threads. There is more than enough light shed to allow a player to make the right choice between legitimate play and cheating.

I want to keep my matters with Pers and my shell private. The results of these matters will be public, whatever the outcome might be.

The results won't neccessarily improve end game conditions. (Have they ever improved?)

If Pers' representatives come to an understanding with me and their members and my leader takes action, there could be improvements for Fafhogg conditions. I can't garauntee anything.

However, I'll warn you now. If you burn bridges me with, you burn nearly all bridges with discussing HNMPT's leadership unless you can speak japanese or understand broken english. I'm the second longest NA in the shell next to Anttaru. Fubio has been around for a while and is more active for Fafnir, so he could possibly know more of what's been going on than Anttaru and I.

I don't think you understood what I was saying. It was a general comment at people saying that number of gear in LS can't be correlated to the success, because the other linkshells have "more fun"

EDIT: my reply to zoolander wasn't directed at you guys really, he just said something that brought what I said to my attention
