Your Name

Vlishgnath - /em shakes his head. God only knows how/why I came up with that name. I've had it for a handful of years now (I think I birthed it during my tenure at rpgamer.com) and, at the very least, it makes for a awkward conversation piece.

Gnikap - Taru. Gnikap. Knee. Cap. I thought I was being clever. No one has ever commented on it, so it stands to reason that I am not, in fact, clever.

Touge (Main)- What they do in Initial D (Coolest anime EVER) and BMI/VH (Best MOTORing International/Hot Version- JDM car videos).

Minitouge (Mule)- Mini-me, duh!

<~ Wanna-be car guy >,>;

Don't think i've posted here..can't remember.. :( ..if I did sorry for posting again...anyways:

AUBREY (I spell it Aubrie :) )
Gender: Masculine & Feminine
Usage: English
Pronounced: AWB-ree

Norman French form of the Germanic name Alberic which meant "elf power", composed of the elements alb "elf" and ric "power". Alberic was the name of the sorcerer king of the elves in Germanic mythology.

Bad move on my part to pick this name since a lot of people think I'm a guy because of it. I found it a few years ago while looking through lists of names for characters in stories I wrote. I stuck with this name in each story so decided it would fit for my character. Though I guess by meaning it would fit more if I was Elvaan.

mules name --- is xjesse...just cause its my name with an x infront of it

We have the same name.

Shiia - Was the main heroine of a comic book I was drawing back in school time when I was a drawing freak. She was an elve but since elvaan didn't suit her appearance I made a hume.

Enoa - My first mule. Enoah was my first Everquest character, High elf wizard to be precise thats why this mule is elvaan. Guess I named her and made a blm in memories of my EQ times. Enoah was originally taken from Noah, yes the person who appears in the bible. I sticked an E in front to be more femalish.

Rikia - My 2nd mule. She was again one of my characters in Everquest, High elf cleric. (yep shes elvaan whm) The name was originally came from "Kia" one of the characters I liked who appeared in a RPG game which the name escapes me. Added the Ri part to be more original.

decidence... Ive had this nickname for about 4 years now. Originated in Counter-Strike when an aquantance suggested it to me and I liked the sound of it. Later on I found out the dictionary meaning was "To Fall Down" or "Falling Down" something like that... thought it was suitable at the time because I blacked out 7 times the first time I got drunk at age 16.

Ive heard several pronounciations of my nickname and have yet to put the effort into finding out the exact way to say it... if anyone wants to do me a favor and figure that out... thanks.

I pronounce it des-eye-dense

^^

Since the question has been presented to my character plenty of times, I might as well tell the whole story in its unabridged valley girl tone. (Warning- It has reference to Jpop ・ロ・ノ)

So one day I went over to my friend’s house. At the time, she was Aya Matsuura crazy. We spent the day watching and listening to all Aya Matsuura PVs and songs for the most part (I think I can skip over the other torturous Hello Project! stuff that I watched as well). My friend turns to me and says:

Friend: Have you seen the MANSUURA? (The other friend is shaking his head in the background)
Me: Eh? The what?
Friend: You soo have to see this!

Then she starts playing the Goodbye Natsuo PV and points at Aya Matsuura in her best ability to dress up like a guy (with a little goatee and mustache and girly polished nails). For some reason the Ayankeys (Sanrio plush thing) were freakier than her “Mansuura.” We had a good laugh for the rest of the day.

A couple mixed days and months while I was AIM, she would send over screen caps (she just discovered how to make those) of the Mansuura to me mixed in with some funny quotes and captions attached to them. Most of the caps were the ones where the Mansuura was pouting. So among the little AIM group of friends and a Jpop board, the Mansuura became some ongoing joke or pun.

About the same time, I met Armi from the Jpop forums. She kept going on about FFXI and how I should join Q server (I only made one character for another server). So we talked for a bit and I was trying to decide what name to use for the character…
****-This is where literary grammar is destroyed. It is recommended to stop reading after this point if you are sensible to bubbly stuff-:****

Ran: Eh, I have no idea what to name another character.
Armi: Come to Q server! >.< RAWR! Why don’t you use your forum name?
Ran: That is possible. Chances are that it is taken though. :P
Armi: Hmmm… (Waving Q server campaign posters in the background)
Ran: Well if Ranpha is taken… I will use Ranphamansuura! XD
Armi: hahaha Right on! (She does not believe me). >_< Choose Sandy!

Then I create the character and get to the name box. Ranpha was taken and thus Ranphamansuura was born on Q. The first comment I received as Ranpha: “UR name is LONG.” (You have to love FFXI welcoming committees :P)

And that is the incredibly boring story of the name.

lmao, that story rocks Ranchan. Not boring in the least ^_^

Mattaru.....should be somewhat obvious seeing as my name is Matt.
Mule - Greatajax - galka. Its from the Iliad because he seems very galkaish like "i want to hit stuff and im not interested in women only hitting shit".

Only the truely hardcore Tolkien fans will recognize my name. Osse is one of the Valar (beings similar to angels in function but more like gods in power) from the Silmarillion. Osse was the Valar aligned with water.

My mule is a taru named Gwilk. I had a perfectly respectable Elvaan mule named Kensai (from D&D Oriental Adventures). However, my younger sister-in-law wanted to try the game as a taru. So I spent 30 mins swapping out stuff from Kensai to Osse and other friends' characters so I could delete Kensai without losing equipment.

She created a taru named Gwilk (no idea where the name came from) and walked around town for 5 mins before quitting forever. >.<

 Wow, I'm a HUGE Tolkien fan, but then again it has been almost 6 years since last I cracked open my Silmarillion copy. Wow... I'm slipping.... Runs off to the book shelf...

Anyway, well I had the same problem as masterorion it apears, I was approched upon starting with misc "Vampire" comments and idiotic comments about not being origional. Apparently some trendy ass movie came out recently using this name or something, because all my tells apeared to be comming from 14-15 kids that couldn't spell vampire properly. Anyway, never seen this movie, never plan on it.

My name comes from back in highschool computer club days a number of years back. You know the kind, for those of you at the right age, calling your parents and trying to convince them you had detention or somthing outragous so you could sit in the computer lab, and rock out Doom II on those "Brand New AWSOME" pentium ones! Talk about a revoulution. Anyway, my clan name for our D2 LAN matchs. Well it was "Frag-Dealer" but was later changed to "Death-Dealer" as we started going to other schools and areas to compete in tournies. Well seeing as though this is my 1st on-line game since Doom, I saw it fitting that I carry on the name. :)

Corny, I know...

My RL nickname is Sap (its a long story) so i was going to choose Sap as my name, but it was taken. I eventually decided to be a taru and Sapster just seemed to fit a taru.

Mule = Ebay Just thought that was clever at the time
Mule = Sapaholic Was very bored that day i think

Suikodan(mule) - part of a Ninjustu technique from another anime called Naruto(awesome show!). The whole name is Suiton:Suikodan no Jutsu which rough translates to something like Water: Water Shark Missle I had just watched an episode with that technique so I thought it would sound cool.

Best Ninjutsu in that show has to be Sexy no Jutsu

Oraga made it up till i realised it was alot of japanese things lol.

1 would be this yes it is a site www.oraga.com.

2. its a game for the SNES.... Oraga Land Shusai: Best Farmer Shuukaku-Sai.

3. Last of what i could find. Oraga-One

NTT data communication sold, with the WindowscNt Server based personal computer, in order to construct the function which is necessary for Internet connection, the hub other than the client * personal computer and the LAN system, the necessary equipment of Luther and backup power source et cetera is Internet * office * pack which bundled is done.

I was oringinaly going to go with Oruga which i found was taken. So i went with Oraga then i found out it was alot of japanese so i amazingly do have a japanese name.

Edit* SNES

i think i just thought of it one day when trying to figure out a name for a message board... Oh wait yeah i remember!
I loved the RPG EarthBound for SNES (the best RPG for SNES). One of the bosses at the begining of the game was called Super Starman Jr. Later on you fight the Gold Starman, Silver Starman, and Super Starman. I beat the game about 7 times cause it is so damn awsome.
So anyway, my real name is Michael and my friends and brother call me mike so... when i was thinking of a name for a message board for an Earthbound ROM hacking site (PKhack) i thought of... Mikeman!
I had the same problems most of u had. I didn't know that once u were on a server you couldn't change it. My friends that already played the game where on another server (Quetzalcoatl of cource) so i had to delete Mikeman and all i could think of was Mikemann. :D Clever i know.

My character name is Murtagh from the book Eragon. Am a galka. My mule name is Radagast from lord of the rings. One of the 5 wizards that was sent to middle earth. Gandalf is the most commonly known wizard.

main: Miruyasha- combination of Miroku and Inuyasha (REAL big duh thing there)

mule: Jujopo- each two letters are the first two letters of my full name, Justin joseph pokraka

Main: Coroidan - its a name that i used to use on Diablo 2 when i played it. Normally I try to use Loki first, as thats my nickname IRL and the name i use at LAN's and stuffs, but Coroidan comes second 'cause its never taken anywhere :P

Mule1: Minicoro - When i use Coroidan, i always get Coro, 'cause people couldn't be buggered writing the whole thing, so Minicoro is my mule 'cause he's short.... real creative huh

Mule2: Corat - Its a mithra, and is short for Coroidans Cat - gotta love the originality of my mules there
