merits

my first fully merit'd job (excluding HP and emnity-) :partytime: (70k lost from the wasted blade bash) now to work on mnk and rdm ._. and something of notable sweetness... my first 20k peice from assualt. pickup group after pickup group. failed assualt static after failed assualt static.

I've just recently begun meritting & was wondering, since there aren't as many 75 mithra pld vs other races, what some of you might think would be the best path to go with merits.

No .dat//hacks here. Hardly practical, but fun.

Seeing Psylent's thread ( http://www.qcdn.org/showthread.php?t=32017 ) about AMII made me wonder about the rest and if anyone either have already or know someone who has capped new merits? How is Overwhelm at 3/3? How high is Phalanx II? Does it actually surpass Phalanx when fully Merited? Does...

Some of the new Merits are spells and some are job abilitys, what was totaly needed after lv 50 how many job abilitys can you name before these new merits. I exp in Caedarva Mire all the time as a BRD, but the aoe animisea (sp) thing is what got me thinking, any way to remove it from a item etc...

I'm an up-and-coming monk, and I'll be meriting with my ls as soon as I knock Maat's teeth out . . . Anyway, naturally I'm very excited about the monk stuff, but does anyone have any data on it? I'm especially curious about Formless Strikes. I've tried to be patient and wait for it to surface...

I know that the total cap is 6 but what is the cap for individual items?

I know it seems a bit trivial, since all these people are making various threads and what-not about all the different merits for each different job.. but.. I figure why not just have one single thread for it and try to compile it into such. If you merit one of the new traits, abilities, or...

I know Absorb-TP is all most drks wanna talk about now, but I was wondering if anyone's tried out the drk merits yet. After being disappointed with Protectra/Shellra V for whm, I decided to try my next merits on drk. So I put one into Desperate Blows, put on a scythe for a nice sized delay, and...

The Short Answer: Nothing special. Longer Answer: Only Recycle is worth getting. Stelth Shot is mostly worthless. Its not a drastic enmity reduction, and the recast is too big to be worth it, even at 5 minutes. Flashy Shot Blows. 20 minute recast which you can drop to 10 minutes at the cost...

So i tried out the new bard merits 1n in each of the new abilitys not the new songs and nightingale works like a charm and trobulator gives you double the length of songs not effect. If anyone else has notice this let me know.

woontang! Total - 1,039,000 xp points

So i recently got my first merit point (i know, only 1) but i was looking on where i could put my merits, and i'm not sure where to put them. for red mage specific, i'm planning on meriting 5/5 convert. i didn't really see a point to meriting elemental accuracys, because after i merit convert...

I seem to have lost my Mojo. Does anyone have any information on Merrits? How they work? How to start them? What are my options? What can I upgrade, how, and what not? I looked everywhere for a comprehensive breakdown of the system and failed. Some people say I should talk to the moogle next to...
