Peregrine really brought all of this onto himself. While personally I'd like nothing more than to never see his name on QCDN ever again (because all of the topics about him end up going in these stupid circles), it's never going to happen because he pissed off 3/4 of the boards. You can't talk shit about how unimportant HQ gear is then come around wanting to buy a Thief's Knife without having it thrown in your face. That's just the way things work.

To the people defending him, I can see where you come from. All LSes are entitled to do their own thing without having it questioned. But when your LS leader is a huge hypocritical drama queen, you might as well get used to having all topics even remotely related to him ending up like this one. Honestly you'd be doing him a greater service by just not posting in them and letting them die down. You're just fueling the fire by defending him.

But seriously guys. Someone saying that a Forager's Mantle is a waste of gil wanting to buy a Thief's Knife? Even you Peregrine defenders have to rofl at that!

What Rappa said. And Daveman, I wasn't referring to you with the tainted remark. You're are correct in what you say, a big relief from what Zylia shows, whos only application to Peregrine-based arguements seems to be "HES DIFFERENT IN GAME!" And "THIS HAS NOTHING TO DO WITH PEREGRINE!" when it does. Had you made someone else post the thread, this wouldn't be going on.

It's something you guys are going to have to deal with for a while. Either get a new figurehead(I suggest you, Daveman) to speak for your LS outside of the game, or just live it down that this is going to happen, and not stop.

Ofcourse I can. Remember, actions reflect who you are, regardless of medium. If he acts like a petty idiot here, why take the chance in talking to a potential petty idiot in-game? He needs to chill out, regardless of where he's communicating. It only ends up hurting himself, as well as you guys(potential recruits, general opinion, etc.)

But hey, if you guys are fine with that, so be it.
 
It only hurts us if you guys make it so. What he does on his spare time is his own deal. He's not the only leader.

Btw Skaw, learn to dance, its no fun if I try to dance happily with you and you just stand there.

This statement, and your others are invalid to the arguement. It's liek saying you only pissed 1 pint into the drinking water and the other 5 gallons are still ok. It just doesn't work. You are either a good person all around, or you are good in some places, and not in others; meanign you are Two-Faced. Which.. No matter how you cut it, is never a good thing. It's liek saying Hitler was cool when he wasn't killing jews.

Anyways, just a minor gripe on that arguement, not the person saying it.

Yeah he only had to read Peregrine say "I put this run on a silver platter but you fucked it up" twice to quit the shell.
 
I joined Invictus about a month and a half ago. I joined knowing Pere through what i have seen on QCDN. Which, i will admit I joined the shell with the mind set of "Pere is an ass". And he is an ass on QCDN, just like 90% of the rest of you are, Fubio included, but he really impressed me as a leader. I would never have guessed that this Peregrine that is our leader is the same person from QCDN. Look Pere may be an ass to you, like you are to him, but who the fuck cares.. Invictus is a damn good linkshell. And we are only growing. No we arent the best. No we probably will never be the best. BUt atleast we are happy, and we are happy because of the way Pere has led us. He keeps us focused on what we are doing, makes sure everyone knows what it is they need to do to win. and hes a God damn good puller. We have never not once wiped since i have been there. Only a semi wipe do to that god damn ninja bomb. I respect Pere as a player in FF. Maybe i dont respect him on qcdn but who gives a fuck i dont respect half of you. ANd i dont care about half of you. I respect those that deserve respect and earn my respect. Pere has definetely earned respect among a lot of us. Maybe you are jealous of what his linkshell has become maybe you are jealous because he dont need all these great gears to be a great player. Why do you waste 15 min of your day to log on to qcdn and post somethign that nobody gives a fuck about? Pere doesnt care. Zylia.. doesnt care. Daveman.. doesnt care.. Fubio doesnt care.. our linkshell, doesnt care. We are defending him because hes a damn good leader and aside from Fleist one of the best leaders ive played along side. And i havent been around that long. We all know what PEre is like on qcdn, lets all just shut the fuck up about him ingame though. Dont hate Pere beacuse he gets inside your head.. just ignore him, like he obviously ignores you. just my 2 cents. Peace

I quit because I got tired of seeing half a team organized, and the other half not knowing wtf is going on. The jeuno run was the most ridicoulus. I made my decision to quit when some scrub went afk for 30 min, came back saw war af2 in the treasure and decided to lot. He got the drop wasnt even the job, nor did he have that job as his secondary. He got reprimanded for it, but that is the type of BS that is seen in any end game shell whether it be Dynamis, HNM, or Sky.

Peregrine also made it clear several times his invitation to the shell was to show publicly he was the bigger man. He didn't want me there, nor do I even think he expected me to even show up.

Motherfuckers who won't say how they obtained the knife and just ignore me in general. You know who you are.

I have seen 2 THF's that have a knife, that I have CC'd down in the Temple. Neither have said -how- they got the knife. These POS can't even claim Rogberry. One time Scwall claimed too early and Rogberry was left unclaimed for upwards of 5 seconds. The other THF in the room ran upto him and did nothing. Must have been fumbling with macros/menu (omgomgoigogm i'm acutally ognna claim it holy fucK!!!!) And then they get burned by Scwall as he kills it infront of them.

Fucking phonies. Either admit to RMTing for your knife or don't show your face where the REAL thf's hang out.

Didnt Biggy CC us there in temple for a month or so though? Ive never seen Poring there though.... that dude has a knife? lmao I know a few ppl that have bought knifes.. or traded stuff for them.. Im proud to say i earned mine. All 62+ claims of sozu not seeing a drop pretty much makes u wanna puke everytime you see another one not drop. I kinda miss it though, atleast i had somethign to do everyday... maybe i should sell off my knife and do it all over again? Ok stupid idea, ToU made me hate this game.. made me a sour player, fucking thiefs knife is a curse. Sometimes just wished i had 60mil to put into other things. LIke fucking with Vangs bread and butter or somethign useful. Anyways. Im out like a fat kid in dodge ball . Peace.

Damn straight you earned that knife, Scwall and I were both there at his house when it dropped for you. Huge Congrats.

The only other knife that we saw drop in the past 3 months - was for Maseki. Huge Congrats as well, but too bad you didn't keep it. It's all good, you reaped your rewards.

As for Biggy, I was surprised he never told Scwall, Achelois, You OR I about it. One day he was shouting in LJeuno (when he was quitting) and I checked him. He had a knife. Pretty sad.

Another - Poring. This guy seems to ignore me 24/7. Has the nerve to camp the knife without another THF being there. Never claims Sozu.
