A Problem :/

i hate to be the downer, but as much as getting away helps, your problems are still there when u get back

This is true, but maybe it can give you a different perspective on how to handle your problems, instead of just stewing in them.

...and another thing. Stand up for yourself! It'll make you feel better! Don't let yourself become everyone elses' emotional punching bag! :bb:

maybe i should take this little piece of advice to heart >.>

And no more of that 'I dont want to deal, I hate waking up' crap. I just came back from California but I'll come back to kick you in the heiny for that talk.

That made me smile.

Im gona try your approach and try to get into the nity grity of things. Ive tried before i guess i just have to try harder.

Sounds to me like you need a creative outlet. Ever tried photography? Invariably, when you start looking for things to capture your mood, you end up finding some beautiful things, and normally it's about yourself.

It's pretty trite, but things tend to seem worse than they really are. You really need to find something jarring to snap yourself out of a depression.

If all else fails, do what Jim Brewer does, and just find a hammer and a really loud pipe to bang on.

Ive been trying to pick up on playing the guitar if thats something :/

dont take this the wrong way but, do you have an identity crisis? I know I am struggling with my own, because a lot of stuff doesn't interest me or I just seem to bomb everything.

You speak of things just being redundant and spiraling...

what do you want out of life?

who are you?

what makes you live?

ask those and act from there, the way I see it shit has hit the fan and you have to react to it in the best way you can.

10% of life is what's thrown at you the 90% is how you react.

don't take this coming off as harsh or belittling, it's just important to find something strong to hold onto and build from there

No i understand where you are coming from.
I guess you could say that may be my problem.
I find myself thinking of what im saposed to do like 3 4 years from now. Will i be ok? Whats gona happen to me?
And the problems i have now make it worse but im gona try to deal.

Take a roadtrip for a day and just think about positives and how to deal with my negetives i guess.

One way I used to figure things out was to have a journal. I would write anything and everything that came to my head that I was having issues dealing with. I would let all boundaries and restrictions disappear and I would put it down on paper without really thinking. The next day after sleeping and clearing my head, I would reread every word I wrote and look at it objectively to see what the hell I was talking about, and if there was any course of action I could take to try and cope or solve said issue. The next couple pages in my journal would basically be my outline of issues to tackle.

I believe a financial future is important, but save for that, you really should just live in the now and not worry yourself with where you are "supposed to be". Goals are nice, aspirations are wonderful, but if you can't enjoy where you are at now, then change what you are doing right now.

The rad thing about being an adult, is you get to control your life.

Wait... are you even an adult?

Peaks and valleys. It could always be worse, and it will always get better.

I could give this a try. I never thought of dealing with a problem like that.

Because honestly, unless you were planting stink bombs in her toilet daily I doubt anyone could break up their parents marriage.

My cousin did it. Seriously. My aunt and uncle recently went through a divorce, and it was all because of the kids. The kids know it, and the parents know it. The parents even have plans to get back together when the kids move out.

Those parents need to be slapped.
