A Problem :/

Which model you looking at? I'll keep an eye out at shows to see whats up in my area if you give me the specs you are looking for. I know you want something close to stock, which might be hard, but doable.

Well if I had the choice i want a GT-R R34(98-99). But those are the rare ones 2nd best option I want would be the 91 GT-R R32's :)

They seem pretty legit. They are definately all asian though. If you read the fine print in thier FAQ, it states that they include aftermarket and shipping costs separate from the conversion cost, so I'd be wary of that. (Aftermarket is a broad term, it could be made into anything)

Lanien, we should talk. I co-run restoration/chop shop down here, and we are always looking for more help! That, and I <3 NY.

I wana be the mascot girl!!! lol

How the fuck would you get insured on a Skyline? If I rang the insurance company up they'd tell me to piss off. Apparently my mum's cousin's Audi R8 costs him fuck all to insure :(. I will steal that car :(

My friend had an Escort Cosworth, he was given it by his dad and after a few phone calls to insurance companies gave it right back. It would of cost him more than the value of the car to insure it for a year.

I highly doubt it would be that much. Grant it yea it woul be more then your average sports car but like lanien pointed out there are a good handfull around in the U.S. Ill Go down and get a quote later to find out exactly how much im looking at a month.

Skylines really are a bitch to insure, but they aren't the worst. You can expect to repay the value of the car in say ... 5-6 years, and by value I meann value without import fees and conversion fees.

There are insurance companies that will insure the car. The problem, is the main driver will be a 20 year old. I'd be willing to wager your looking at no less than $800~$900/mo. ESPECIALLY if you add all those aftermarket goodies you are talking about.

Shit, a racing stripe alone makes your insurance go up lol I can only imagine. But yeah, I forgot Kiskie was still young. Take that 5-6 years I gave her and cut that in half. It will be like rebuying the car in the time most people get leases for lol

I just find it funny how her life's so bad but she can afford a lovely Evo, or is it mummy and daddy's money?

Sounds a bit dubious... no? Oh well, it's the internet. If you can't daydream here, where can you?

was just gonna say this rofl.

She probably lives where I came from. D: Everyone's rich as fuck but their life STILL IS THE WORST EVER!

maybe take up a new hobby (this isnt a get away from ffxi post) i mean actually try something else (you can keep playing ffxi just saying try something on top of that).

this will let you broaden your friendships, and find new friends. it sounds like you dont have a lot of friends that you really LOVE hanging out with.

take up a sport, start going to the gym, play guitar, do something different that will allow you to meet new friends that will possibly replace your old not so good friends.

not sure how old you are, but when I was in highschool i had good friends, but they werent great. my girlfriend was great, so I spent most of my time with her, but when I left highschool and ended it with my girlfriend, I came to university with a whole new look on things. found some new friends, joined a fraternity, and im having a great time. I live with 3 of my best friends, and I dont know what id do without them.

if you are still in high school, then look forward to only the best of changes in your future!

life always moves on man, and tomorrow will always differ from today in some small seemingly insignificant way. the changes only seem major when you look back on them.

good luck, and try not to beat yourself up over your parents' divorce, lots of my friends have been through it (i luckily havent) and nothing good can come from letting it ruin your mood.
