A third party game coming to the Wii that won't suck??? Monster Hunter 3!

I've been toying with picking up the second game on the PSP, but this is the sort of thing that could almost convince me to wait. If it has hunting parties enabled through WiFi Connection, so much the better.

Update: Hmmmm... It's now a Wii exclusive? That's gotta hurt, Sony.

From what I'm reading about the PS2 one it seems like a hack and slash meets PSO.

Look people, if you see my posting history, you'll notice I'm critical as all hell of Wii games, especially shitty 3rd party half assed ports. So when I say to go buy this game, go buy this game. It's one of those things that when I thought was coming to PS3 was making me drool, now you are all lucky to be able to play this on the less expensive system and don't fucking pass it up.
 
for a second i thought it was monster rancher dammit lol, Never liked monster hunter, i beta'd the first one on ps2 and just couldnt get into it, dont know many people that did. But thats me, cant believe they even made a 2 >.>
 
Not heard of series before, but I guess I'l have to keepeye on it. People posting on gamespot are pissed.

Of course they are. They're learning that they are losing their exclusive games to the hot system.
 
IM SPEECHLESS lol... im shocked and yet im not. I can't believe Sony lost this title and YES that hurts considering Sony was hoping for a big Japan support since the system is doing poorly in the US. It makes since though since just about everybody in Japan has a WII in there living room. I keep mentioning Japan because this a title like Final Fantasy to them. Everybody over there loves Monster Hunter.

With Smash Brothers, Mario Galaxy and of course you know more Zelda's to come....and now this, I might be getting a WII sometime next year instead of borrowing my friends lol.

It's not exactly doing stellar in Japan either. Wii pretty much outnumbers PS3s atleast 2:1 everywhere.

No it's not doing great there, but it's still doing better then the xbox. Thats why I was shocked that sony would hurt themselves even more by trying not to keep this title.
 
It's alright, but now it being on the Wii, the controls should be alot more easier/fun to use, improving all around gameplay.
