All Gear Stolen and Sold

First things First, Yes i realize that it was entirely stupid to let someone have access to my Character. Mrtaru and I played together for months together. I static'd with him along with all kinds of of there things. Never did I see him blindsiding me by muling all my gear so he could sell it so he could make a profit. Mrtaru stole every item that was not rare/ex. very high end gear for a WHM75, THF65, and all my subjob equip.

I attempted to log in on 6/23/07 only to find out that I had been suspended for Harrassment. I was up late that night before, almost 4am, in an Exp. Party with my THF...about 6 hours later i wake up to find that i had been logged into a different terminal and was unable to log back in. So I sit out for my Suspension period. as I'm sitting in GM jail..i look at my inventory and every item listed above was missing. I contact a GM hoping that was their fault, but it wasn't. I wanted to research www.ffxiah.com just to see if i got hacked and who sold my equip. the name "Crauge" was listed for all my high end equip. Crauge is actually Mrtaru's mule.

the link above proves that every item i once owned was sold my Mrtaru. He has taken advantage of me. He may not get banned for anything because I did give him my account information. I do regret that now. All I can say is that if you ever see him and he smarts off or does anything that could possibly be recommended as being offensive...tell a GM. As long as that Character is around...I will follow him from server to server. He will not get rid of me that easy. I will have my revenge. Gear or no Gear
 
hmm well sorry to hear that man, but then again you should never give your infomation out to another, because even if they sound nice on game you don't really know how they are in RL. Hope you get your gear back
 
Mrtaru is in a sky shell with Penut. Penut has done this before to Blazeoffury. Funny how people of a feather flock together ; ; I'm sorry you were taken advantage of and basically completely fucked over. You learned your lesson, and nice enough of him to leave your Ra/Ex equipment. Penut dropped all of Blazes' Ra/Ex equip.

Apparently just making a lucrative business off of stealing Kaptains shit. After all, as many have said before: "Associating with RMT makes you one yourself." Penut was w/ RMT for a while, right? Guilty by association ftw? Law of translation would mean the odds of Mrtaru associating with the shadier of characters on our server are greater. Of course, lol @ people dumb enough to trust them.

I don't judge people by who their friends are, but I'm also not surprised by what people do when I know they associate with people who have done and would/will do the same thing.

Edit: 3:15 AM, I'm going to sleep. lol I don't think I can say much else to add onto my argument here. Then again, I don't think I need to. =B

He was MIA for a bit, but I saw him recently with this gear on, surprised he finally upgraded to Noble's from his Blessed.

Shame it happened man, but that's what you get when you misplace trust.

Never trust someone with something you're not willing to part with or replace easily...

With that kind of list, I'd be suprised if you could replace that all with ease.

I'm not sorry it happened, but I am disappointed that you'd have to learn your lesson this way bro.

Yea lec, i spoke to kaptain last nite. He officially quit, its not worth the time and effort to make up close to 10 mil in gil. Its sad.

Sucky thing to have happen and I'm sorry to hear it. Having said that, the moral of the story is:

Rule #1: Don't give out your password.
Rule #2: If you decide to ignore rule #1, at least do your homework on the person first. Look them up on QCDN, particularly the flameboard, and back off the idea at even the slightest suggestion of stealing stuff.

Even if you think you know them well (and by this I mean lots of time together in a LS; even a static for a little while doesn't necessarily show you much), this is a good practice. Even if you don't hand your account over to someone, it's good to be aware of whether they have any skeletons in their closet that you weren't aware of.
