Wars and Drk are both, DD's. In this case, It would be best for This guy to convert from being a War to a Drk so he can be even better with his almighty Greatsword skills.
 
GS cap at 256 at lv75 for War, sure, you can hit stuff.
But getting there with a GS will be next to impossible seeing how people want war's for almost only rampage pt's.
And even if you do get there with GS only, you wont be very useful in end game and you will have a very hard time keeping up with TP.


So, if he loves GS more than War, then what's wrong with going drk?

Not only that but WAR can never use Spinning Slash or Sickle Moon, which means nothing but gimp WS until 73 or so when Ground Strike can be quested... and even then, Ground Strike is weak at 100 TP.

no, nobody said DRK is the same thing as WAR. What was said is that there's a reason different jobs have different weapon specialisation, and that if you want to beat stuff up with a Great Sword, you should play DRK instead of WAR.

You should play the job that best fits what you want to do, not try to force your job to fit what you want it to do.

Or you could use that brain of yours, think about it for a sec, and understand that he was saying that SINCE this guy likes to be a warrior with greatsword, he should play dark knight instead who can better use the weapon. He is saying nothing about drk being a great sword warrior.

Lol, that guy deleveled twice? That's Bachi at it's best. Who gives a shit about what gear you have, some people need to realize that, for some players, it's hard to come up with good equipment, and it can be a pain in the ass to get the gear you may want.

Yeah, it requires effort to get anything you want, so why should people be afforded any leniency when they don't get even the basics like everyone else?

"Laff" is internet talk dumby, like orly owl. And theres no reason to gimp your performance because you want to use a different weapon, simple as that.

Isnt Centurion's Gear better than Eisen if you're gonna DD as war?
not the full cent set of course, some races RSE is better and whatnot, but yeah...and who is "Him"!!! NAMES! NAMES! GIMME GIMME!!
