This sort of relates to Mire's comments before, but why even make a NSFW board on a forum that is mostly (not always though as seen in other forum topics/subjects) dedicated to a game? Why not just make a seperate board all together o_O? This would let anyone who wants to have some fun over there, and keep those who don't want to see it away from the content.

I'm opposed to Rannoch's avatar because just ugh. In general I find most of this stuff in good fun and as long as it doesn't become more than that and its confined I don't see it as a problem. If people know they are going to go into a thread and be offended it is their fault for going in the thread (as long as the material does not break the rules). I mean I have never seen a Blackmagick thread get locked because shit when it says banana-split, its Blackmagick and he tells you not to look at it I'm sure you are old enough and beyond the 'do it because it is forbidden' factor and not look, or at least take responsibility for looking at it.

Also, as long as the thread doesn't conatin straight up links to pornographic material I think it is ok, because there are underage people roaming the boards and no matter how arbitrary we know those laws are they are still the laws. If they want to Google dripping wet vaginas, whatever enjoy your wank, but its not our place to provide the material to them.
 
So make it linkable in a sticky or something?

I don't think you understood what I meant by private. You know how the original Linkshell section worked? If you were a member, you saw the forum. If you weren't, you didn't. That's what I had in mind for a NSFW forum. Unless you were a member, it wouldn't even exist to you, basically.

Turn the goddamned avatars off if you're so panicked about people at work seeing them. You have no controll over what people post, so controll what you see of it. I'm not defending the 500ft peinis, that was way past acceptable (althogh hilarious) But its just a picture of a beutiful woman, and the image itself is not ilegal anywhere in north america, so live with it.
