Yes, it's a 1% DW increase, and 2% haste will trump that any day. Sarashi should sell for about as much at AH as a NPC will pay for it.

Out of curiousity, where did you get that info? I've been wanting a similar item, Wrestler's Mantle, which has "enhances martials arts" effect on it and the latent effect is activated by MNK subjob. Is it possible you have info on how much the latent effect reduces delay? I figured the standard 20 delay that martial arts reduces, but considering Sarashi only gives 1%, it would follow suit that the mantle is also probably weak and not worth the armor slot.

Also, it's a waste trying to pump up Puppetmaster Melee, why would you bother?

My opinion of the two that the OP mentioned. Go with Beastly every +1 skill offers 1 more attack and 1 acc for that weapon. +2 Str meh....

I'm still hoping someone at SE isn't retarded (I know, it's a lot to hope for) and fixes the job. Without any form of fix, PUP becomes a gimpier DRG in parties or worse, a gimpy solo BST. NO offense to either job, I don't mean any, but as it stands PUP is completely useless for anything. Sure, it can do a lot of things, but none of them well enough to even make it worth inviting over any job or to consider playing when another job can do each task better.

And I agree with Lavi, making PUP only accessable to mage gear is basically like having a SMN melee with a Club or BLM with a Knife. Just plain stupid...


Regarding the OP though, the STR is buyable, so getting Bushino just for that is sortof wasted. And if you're adamant towards not getting Suppano, I'd get the 5 axe skill instead.
 
yes now it is definitely between the sup and the beastly.. I already have two triumph so now its down to speed or damage.

I don't think +5acc+5atk will add very much damage to your Rampage, considering you meritted the skill already. Since I meritted axe skill on my DRK, I eat meat foods on my 67warrior and land 16-18tp nearly everytime. Double attacking on both weapons nets 18, multi hit weapons still proc DA during WS.

The reason why Beastly earring isn't a great choice is Brutal will easily replace it. Make that 3 earrings that can replace it. I'd preferably like to have Triumph or Vampire x2
