We all know that bazaaring in Batillia Downs is common practice. Everyone has their reasons to do it, whether it be to avoid the tax in the cities or to AFK in commonly browsed place is neither here nor there. I personally bazaar there because I can move my stuff easier while I sleep and I can't AH it. I'd like to say this though, if you're bazaaring useless shit, please GTFO.
I don't want to see level 10 NQ gear. AH it or npc it.
I don't want to see lizard skins. AH it or npc it.
I don't care about your damn Tarutaru Rice Cakes. NPC or drop that shit.
I could care less about your damn water crystals. NPC that shit.
I don't care if you hit level 100 cooking and made some Wizard Cookies. Put that shit on AH.

The only things that deserve to be bazaared in Batillia Downs are:
Pop items (sky gems, sea organs, codexs, eye clusters and so on)
Rare HQ items or for that matter rare NQ items (-1 cursed gear, Genie Weskits, Blessed Mitts +1 and so on)
Rare drops (Speed Belts, Novio Earrings, Kracken Clubs, and yes even an Osode and things of the like)
Non-AHable items (mannequin parts and so on)

So I say this, to all those who have level 1 mules in Batillia Downs with shit like insect wings in your bazaar, go the fuck away. When I'm there I'm there for business whether it be buying or selling, I really don't care if you have useless shit in your bazaar because if I wanted it I'd buy it off AH not from you toon that's cluttering up an already crowded area.

I just scroll on through the junk and continue my shopping.
 
I'm sorry, but I didn't realize I needed to apply for a permit to bazaar "useless" items. I hope you'll move my application to the top of the stack.

Not flaming the person in particular, i dont even know who that is.... but expecting someone to sell an item for 500K less than the going price is just ignorant, especially when the item sells kinda well...
 
I can totally agree that it gets really fucking annoying when you're going through Batallia looking for a specific item and you get 4 people in a row with either earth crystals or the only thing in their bazaar is an item signed by JohnnyWhatsHisFuck for 99,999,999.

However, if you have the patience to wait for everyone to load up and look through all the bazaars for what you're hoping to find, then thats cool. I wait and look around and just shake my head at the morons out there with Scale Mail and Bat Wings.
 
Hey, I got a scroll of Raise to sell for 99k in bazaar back in the day... Dunno who was that dumb, but I put the gil to good use for my Rdm.
 
Meh, before I had 2 Jeuno mules if I was bazaaring something semi-big, I'd throw the rest of the crap I didn't have room for on AH up as well. If you're already bazaaring you might as well. =P In regards to people that only bazaar the cheap stuff, just move along if you don't like what they're selling. I don't do it, but I don't begrudge anyone who does.

I have 4/5 of my HKTK eye pieces up for 9's so I don't toss them. The only other thing in there are the two moblumin ingots that will never sell...pieces of shit.

Now i want to make a mule named Johnnywhatshisfahk.

That's sometimes because whatever they are bazaaring has sold.

If you window-shop often there start writing down the time-wasters names and give them a pass next shopping spree. I find people park their stiffs there all week and dont update them till the weekend.
 
Y'know, I'm glad someone brought this up, because there's a practice that I don't see used enough: search comments for bazaaring. Now, I know that there are a good number of people who DO use this, but to those of you who don't, please start.

Obviously, this doesn't work if you've got 56 things you're tryin to sell; for those who have one or two items you're tryin to unload, however, it works great. Just search the area, read the comments (containg the names and prices of items) of those who have them, and then /target that person's name.

An easy way of streamlining the process. Try it some time, and tell me how much easier it is than using /check on about 100 mules sellin signed Spike Necklaces for 99,999,999.
 
Ancient beastcoins should always be sold for 10k no more no less.. what's with this 17,777 shit I keep seeing ><
 
If they sell for higher prices why the hell should i sell em to you cheap?
 
Lol I still recall the day somebody lead some NM Trent in there to have some fun, I think it caused quite the market crash that day.

Sometimes, I sit down there to sell ancient beastcoins.
As well as Utsusemi: Ni for 500k.
And a Yagudo Headgear for 500k.
And an Antlion Trap for 1M.
It'll happen eventually.
