I contemplated not making this post, in fact, I almost wasn't going to. I thought however, that I have made a few friends here on QCDN, and that I might let you guys know before you don't see me again.
My mother gave my sister some antidepressants a few days ago (stupid idea, you should never take someone elses medication), because my sister hadn't seen her doctor yet to get hers reperscribed. Everyone thought, no big deal. 2 days ago, my sister was caught in school with these pills in her purse.
A little background info now:
I used to smoke pot. I quit about 2 months ago, and this past weekend out of boredom I decided to pick up a bag and have a little fun. My sister asked if she could smoke with me (this wasn't her first time smoking, so I didn't think it was a huge deal) and so we smoked together, once. At no time did I give her any, all of it stayed in my room, and not once was it out of my sight.
Along with the pills they found in my sisters purse, they also found some marijuana residue. Most likely either from her boyfriend, or herself, leaving some in the purse.
The police were called, and my sister was given a 5 day suspension from school. The next day, my sister had to go to the police department.
My mother and sister go the police department, and when the police asked her how it got there......
MY MOTHER AND SISTER TOLD THE POLICE THAT IT WAS MINE!!!!!!!!!
Yes, my mother and sister, despite my not being involved in this situation AT ALL, in a complete act of cowardice told the police that it was mine. Today at about 10am, I have to go to the police station. More than likely, it will be something like 2 years probation and a fine. A fine I really don't have the money to pay for, as I'm trying to get an at home business started, and I'm already 100$ short on starting it up (I was going into it with a friend, and he was going to provide half the money, me the other half. And now, it's nothing illegal).
The fine alone is enough to shut that idea down. However, becuase my mother and sister told hte police that, they have probable cause to search my house, and give me drug tests. I'm not exactly sure of the drug laws at the moment ( I used to be, but things have been changing recently), but I could very well end up in jail. Possibly for dealing, if they manage to twist this in a way that could prove that I 'sold' some to my sister.
This is a complete act of cowardice on my mother and sisters' part. When I smoked pot, I was willing and fully prepared to take any consequences brought around if I got caught. Which is why I'm not running or lying about it at all. I didn't expect my mother and sister however, to completely cop out (excuse the pun), and instead of accepting the responsibility for their problems they pointed the finger at me. This is complete bullshit, let me tell ya.
So, I just wanted to let you people, my perceived friends, that I may not be around for a while. I wish you all luck, and I pray that your family never betrays you in such a way.
