I just think if you're willing to put up with all the potential legal troubles that marijuana can cause, you might as well switch to crack or meth or something. More bang for your buck and just as bad legal and social ramifications.
Whoa you've got some misconceptions. Crack and meth cannot be compared with marijuana. The only reason you compare them is because they're all illegal. Would you compare alcohol with crack or meth? Actually alcohol is more like crack and meth than pot is.
Now, I'm willing to accept the fact that you, Kelsilv, are the type of person who's life could be ruined by marijuana use. Some people should not smoke pot. Some people's chemical makeup just cannot tolerate marijuana. For some people pot is as harmless as cigarettes.
Crack and meth are in a completely different category, if not legally (although I think they are classified differently, not sure though) then certainly health-wise. First of all crack and meth are physically addictive, marijuana is not. You can die of a crack or meth overdose; pot will just make you fall asleep, or worst case scenario stress your liver more than you should. But you cannot die from smoking or eating too much marijuana.
In addition, when you are dealing with the crack or meth world(s) you are dealing with a completely different class of people. In general the person you are going to buy crack or meth from is more dangerous than the person you are going to buy pot from. The two may overlap, but I would not buy pot from someone who was also selling crack or meth, or heroin for that matter.
Marijuana is a plant that occurs in nature. Have you ever seen a crack tree? Or a meth flower? Crack comes from cocaine, which comes from the coca plant. A single alkaloid is extracted from the plant using toxic chemicals in order to achieve cocaine. And crack is smokeable cocaine. It is more concentrated and more deadly.
Nobody should have to deal with legal troubles stemming from pot use. However, the reality is that even if you are not spiritually or physically damaged from pot use, the legal system can f*** you up big time. So if legal trouble follows your pot use, although it sucks for your life to be dictated by an outside, completely impersonal force, then you gott stay away from it.
Crack and meth do not offer "more bang for your buck." Their bang is absolutely different from pot, and a lot more dangerous.
