Your last point is accurate, the opinion does not need to be respected, the right of the individual to hold his own opinion does. Saying they should be murdered or silenced is even more blattantly wrong than saying "I hate fags". This started out as a kneejerk reaction to an argument regarding how 2 people view gods(who in my opinion is an imaginary being) opinion on sexual life style. What is there to be informed on in that particular debate. If someone wants to think homosexuals go to hell, who really cares?

I'm a moral relativist in the end, I don't believe in right or wrong so much as point of views of right and wrong.

The lines about disowning homosexuality in the bible is in the old testiment. And most variations of the christian faith preach from the new testiment. The old testiment was intended for jewish people from so many centuries ago. If someone tells you to change your ways, show them the new testiment, tell them that the old testiment is apparently obsolete because they are not jewish, and if they are, tell them that you are not, and by thus, you are still correct for following the new testiment.

Let me tell you something, your parents probably did not like the fact that you are a lesbian. No father wants his kid to turn gay, thats the truth. Unless you're gay and you adopt a kid, but thats even worse for the kid to have 2 fathers. It doesn't work, you can't have everyone start turning gay because its no longer considered "wrong", it comes back to the simplest arguement - How do you have kids?

I don't know why you want to kill my family, thats even more harsh than me saying I don't like gay people. My aunt has cancer atm, so you picked an innapropriate time to post that. I'm not even going to ask for an apology, everyone here knows you're crazy.

Just forget I ever said anything, Im not one of those people that will come up to a gay guy and just start bashing them. I don't feel uncomfortable with gay guys around me, there is no reason to. Im just one of those people that laughs at guys who are extremely feminine, look at their nails, walk weird, talk weird, ect ect. But again, forget I said anything.

A few post up from the post I'm quoting says your Catholic. You can't be a subscriber to a religion and claim it has nothing to do with your opinions, actions, or not even briefly effect your way of life.

Read my post above it, I have absolutely NO problem with just normal gay people. NONE. But the people who go out of their way to look feminine, tight jeans, pink butten up shirts with, who wave their hands when they talk. Thats the kind of gay I don't like. Realize that please.

Everything you say is blind ignorance anyhow, not much to ignore.. Gay is a choice yes, and people choose it. I'm not telling you to be gay, I'm just saying you can't tell me what's right and wrong. I "turned" lesbian due to an attraction of women moreso than men, and in turn have found women to be far more worthwhile than men in every single aspect.

And while I was angry when I wrote my comment? You will get no apology from me.
 
The Catholic religion really does nothing for me, Im the only Catholic in my family, and thats only because I went to a Catholic school when I was 9. You got a discount if you're Catholic.
