Bleach Manga Storyline discussion. (Contains spoilers)

it's been a lot more than 2 weeks since Ichigo and them rescued rukia. They even said that it's been a month or more sometime earlier when they were training. Like.. ichigo, etc all them were training for far more than a month. And even so, there's nothing to say that the captains didn't train more via some way to get stronger in the same amount of time. Just because they aren't around as much doesn't mean they aren't doin stuff :P but who knows for sure other than the creator?

Where did this magical month come from? Almost immediately after they came back they went back to school, from there everyone else showed up soon after and then the espada showed up. The only reference to time passing that I remember was Ichigo training, but it hadn't been more than a week total; everything else seemed to be happened the next day from the last.

You're still ignoring how we already know they didn't use everything they had in their fights with Ichigo; and that they had already learned all of the moves/powers they could. They already had bankai, they aren't training to be vizards, so there really wasn't some new level of strength they could reach. Also, as I already said, they've been fighting lower ranked espada than Grimmjaw, except for Kenpachi, who's fighting the one Ichigo couldn't beat because he was injured.

Yeah, I'm sure they trained, but there wouldn't be anything but a minute difference in their strengths since there was no new level to achieve during that time. If you want to ignore the blatantly obvious that was clearly spelled out for you in the manga already, go ahead.
 
they mention something about the big battle being so and so months away and then they say there's only so many months left. That would tend to hint that time has passed. I'll go search for it when I'm not feeling lazy.

And who knows, if others can always become stronger why can't they? Sure others have something like they haven't "learned yet" but who knows. Hasn't Kenpachi aslo constantly been fighting to become stronger? I'm sure as hell he wasn't godly from the start :|

Urahara said that he could have the path to Hueco Mundo created in under a month, that was right after Aizen revealed himself. So at most, one month has past since Ichigo rescued Rukia.


And who knows, if others can always become stronger why can't they? Sure others have something like they haven't "learned yet" but who knows. Hasn't Kenpachi aslo constantly been fighting to become stronger? I'm sure as hell he wasn't godly from the start :|

You're not reading what I'm saying. I'm saying there's nothing they can learn that would make much of a difference. Of course they could train and get slightly better, but since they already know both releases for their swords, and they're not vizards, then there is nothing that they could learn to create a big improvement in their combat abilities. Ichigo got a lot stronger in his training, because he was learning ban kai or his vizard powers. He got a lot stronger after training with Urahara, because he was learning how to fight properly. At no point did he gain any noticeable strength from just basic training.

Kenpachi also was really strong to begin with, the reason he was wondering around was because he wanted to find someone strong enough to beat him, or at least to challenge him; not because he was training.
 
well Kenpachi could learn something :P since he has no bankai but I dunno.. Anime always has crazy crap that people magically learn so fast even if they were already uber.
 
would be nice to see Kenpachi have atleast a Shikai... But shit! Hes a powerhouse himself with just that sword of his.
 
Ichigo needs to learn Shikai. He skipped it and went straight for Bankai <.<;
 
Isn't Shikai the power-up that they get before Bankai?

I suck at remembering names, so I might be mistaken <.<; what's that called?
 
he didn't have Shikai when he fought against Renji the first time.. then when he got his powers back he got his sword in like.. perma shikai mode. And then he learned bankai :P

Shikai is the first released form, that's when everyone's sword changes to be unique; in it's unreleased state it looks just like a normal katana. Ichigo's zanpaktou is always in it's shikai form, probably because he just can't control his spirit energy enough to actually lock it in a non-released state, but he's always in Shikai.

Shikai is also where they usually get a cool power for their sword, Ichigo learned the Getsuga Tenshou when he first regained his soul reaper powers, that's his shikai power.

Zaraki's sword is actually the same way as Ichigo's, its stuck in Shikai form because his Reiatsu is just so damned big
 
Zaraki don't have any special abilities that we know of though.

So far, Zaraki's sword is unreleased as he cannot hear the swords name. Basically because he never listened to it, he's paying for it as when he asked the zanpakuto its name, it never responded. He's basically just stupidly powerful and if he did somehow, by some miracle, learn his zanpakuto's name, he will probably the most powerful soul reaper ever, three times over!
 
I think it's kinda interesting that only ichigo leans over to the vizard side unlike the rest of soul society. None of the captains or guardsmen have except maybe Aizen who experimented and is well aware of Ichigo's hollow transformation and probrably has his own waiting but wants to reach the true fusion of soul reaper and hollow, hence the obtainment of hogoyoukou to erase those boundaries.

Was it Ichigo's informal training and rush to bankai that brought about the hollow and made him a vizard, and why is it a bad thing to be a vizard, much less what makes them hate soul society for obtaining that stage? Vizard is the subduement of the inner hollow as bankai is the subduement of the zanpakto^'s avatar.

It could be that informal/inproper training leads to being a Vizard, in that case I wouldn't be suprised if zaraki had a hollow mask as well.

On-topic- Zaraki was awesome in this chapter, I was getting tired of that Nnoitra bastard, it does seem odd that the captains and subordinates can beat the espada so easily and Aizen not be so concerned. I'm going to side with Baj on the 'holding back' theory, since we saw a 'new' move by Byakuya that he didn't use on Ichigo because he thought little of him, like when he nearly killed Renji.

Byakuya never likes to fight full-throttle and uses what's neccesary, while Kenpachi is the opposite.

We still need to see the other captains fight, it's a little annoying seeing the same ones fight again=/

It was the method he used to regain his Shinigami powers after Byakuya kicked the crap out of him and took Rukia away.
