He would be too overpowered then. Even more so if he takes that spirit sucking patch off of his eye and the bells out his hair that give him away. Would be awsome to see though.

Any ideas on what his bankai would be though if he were somehow become able to obtain it?

I think for his shikai he would have some giant sword. Then his bankai would be a bigger giant sword... sorta like Yoh's oversoul in Shaman King, when he first obtained it. That thing was f*cking huge!
 
Like Ichigo, he's already at Shikai (in form) though :/ He just can't perform any special abilities, such as absorption, spirit based ranged attacks, etc.

Nope, Kenpachi has no shikai, his sword is unreleased.

Kenpachi can't learn the name of his zanpakuto because he abused it alot. He was never in synch with his zanpakuto.

Anyone have any thoughts on why Aizen is so interested in her ability? Aside from the fact that she can do "time reversal", I'm sure that's not the reason he wanted her.


Zaraki's shikai, I think would need to be somewhat bestial and menacing. As well as his bankai. They always compare Zaraki to a beast, in the way that he fights with raw power and his desire to fight for the fun of it alone.

My prediction is that Orihime will be asked to reverse the existence of Karakura town thereby generating the number of souls needed for the king's key.
 
I thought he mentioned the town on its own was enough and he needed no extra souls. By 'Shikai' I mean just that - it's unreleased. I would compare it to Momo, when she uses her shikai the form changes and she gains access to that cherry blossom ranged attack; however in Zaraki's case it's in shikai, but he gets nothing from it (same as Ichigo at first). Maybe it's hard for me to explain or my terminology is wrong :/

You don't really need the spoiler tag, since this whole thread is about the latest in the manga.

I thought they said why he wanted her ability; if not then it was just assumed it had something to do with the hogenkyou. Her powers is the ability to change existence, she heals by "rejecting" that any damage ever took place. As an extension of that, she could "reject" the hogenkyou's sealing and complete it in an instant.
 
Given Aizen's near-compulsive plotting... I suspect he wants Orihime to try and un-create the Hougyoku for some reason. After all, he goes to all the trouble of showing her where he keeps it...

Think you're a bit wrong Nei, do you mean as in the swords are very different from those of non sword release users?

In training with Zangetsu, Ichigo is given a regular katana that has no potential to release its sword, it's just a sword. (is this the shikai you were referring to?)

The ones that Ichigo, Zaraki, Byakuya,etc. use are different they have the potential to release their avatar's power, shikai is a release of power, bankai is a greater release.

Zaraki has the potential to release it but he'll probrably never release it.

Aizen said he needed no more souls? I thought they were going to decimate Kakarua Town for the spiritually aware soul population there and make the king's key, the hogoyouku could be some sort of bomb that's set off by orihime's rejection since even Urahara couldn't destroy it safely.
 
By no more souls I thought he meant that the town itself was enough and he wouldn't need to destroy it, recreate it, and destroy it again.

I get what you're saying on the shikai issue, guess I looked at it wrong.
 
well chapter 314 is full of win

Basically Aizen has sealed off those who have entered Hueco Mundo and mobilizes to go to Karakura Town, it seems desperate but Urahara makes sure the Soul Society's main force is able to gather in the town...

All seems to go accordingly to Aizen's plan. What i REALLY want to see is Urahara vs. Aizen and both of their bankais, next episode is sure to deliever.
