in all honesty...i think that was a shite power up... just holding it by two hands, i guess it works for Kenpachi since he is just pure power, but even then i think they coulda done better

Not really, it's a pretty fluid power-up considering what they've done with Kenpachi so far. They couldn't give his zanpaktou any powers, because he's fought for centuries without it's name; he's never used a Kidou ever and Yamichika said that in Squad 11 they make fun of people with Kidou powered Zanpaktou.

They obviously couldn't just give him another seal to take off; so him actually using a trained style rather than just wildly swinging the sword around would make him more formidable.
 
Zaraki's transformation is him going from a smiling crazy face to a smiling "Hey, I'm enjoying this" crazy face. In either form you know not to fuck with him.

I'm utterly disappointed and amused at the same time...

I only saw the raw version(sub wasn't out yesterday) Baj, so I made a prediction; I read the sub(today)before I read this thread...

Wow Zaraki, wow...Use two hands? Awesome!
 
You swing a sword wildly and then change over to a perfected movement and notice the difference. Honestly I'm not surprised, the power and accuracy in his attacks will definitely be improved from using a sword style versus just slashing like a madman.
 
Yeah, I thought it was a great power-up for Zaraki. One that also makes complete sense. Its also one that were almost impossible to predict.

I think that he'll be back (and very pissed off) when Kenpachi defeats Noitora.
 
i don't think he'll be pissed at kenpachi so much...he really hasn't shown any emotion this far into the story, even when Inoue slapped him XD.

If anything i think he will just kill (or try to) grimmjow, but then we haven't even seen that guy for a while either, and whats to say Inoue actually heals him up again, another thing is....Ichigo isn't strong enough to kill Ulqui.


Kenpachi is already heavily damaged, so i don't think that he will be able to fight on even terms with Ulqi either, the only ones that are left are Inoue, (MAYBE) Ichigo and Yachiru.
 
He means Ulqiuorra being pissed at Grim for putting him in that dimension.

And Ichigo as well.

Zaraki and Ulqiuorra have never met=P
 
and because they haven't met i think Ulqui will be passive towards him...and just ignore him
 
your right he wouldn't, but he is in no state to continue fighting right now, although i wouldn't put it past him...

question! Ok, looking at the anime, its currently subbed to episode 163. My question is: which manga chapter would it be?

I for one, would LOVE to see Zaraki learn the name of his zanpaktou. Imagine, with how much raw power he has in just his reiatsu and sword skill, if he were to learn the name of his zanpaktou and gain bankai... he'd be unstoppable. I think thats probably the only reason that Kubo didn't continue to develop Ken-chan's character, as far as his zanpaktou is concerned.
